  1. I will continue to not make predictions, but I know this game will be an emotional home opener for the Raiders. They have dedicated this season to their beloved late principal Randy Cooper. The motto of this season is, Remember what HE built. He will be their cheering on his favorite team from above. Good luck Raiders!!! Raider Nation is proud of each of you.
  2. I keep reading over and over that Ryle was wore down. IMO that's because we have way too many players going both ways 100% of the time while several very good players watch from the sidelines. It's just not necessary. While the players going both ways are phenoms just how much better would they be if they were able to rest between offense and defense?
  3. Some of the Raiders injuries are healing. Ryle, unlike other years, is a talented well rounded deep team with great senior leadership. I won't make a prediction, but I will say "Remember what HE built". Whatever the outcome leave it on the field each game and never look back.
  4. I have sat back and read too much. Let's not forget this was a "Scrimmage" and Glen Este who Ryle opens the season against at Nippert Stadium was in attendance complete with not less than six cameras filming both teams and writing notes on every play. Ryle played at least six different RB's, ran a very limited playbook and wanted to see how deep they were. Obviously there is work to be done. As for CC playing second string against Ryle's 1st...I was at the scrimmage and JV played JV and Varsity played Varsity. CC has a good team and I wish them all the best this season. Ryle has a ton of talent, good coaching and great support from their fans. The sky is not falling. GO RAIDERS!!!
  5. Congrats Jerrod!!! I look forward to coming and watching a game or two with your dad.
  6. Drew...Congrats and have fun! I will have to come and watch a few games.
  7. Just FYI this past seasons JV RB #34 was Gillum not Brady.
  8. My cousin was a bouncer there. They used to have a caged bear and alot of fights.
  9. Anyone besides me remember Sambo's?
  10. Raiders...you put together a very good season. All of you worked long and hard and gave 110%. Sometimes in life you suffer adversity. The way you've handled yourselves the past couple weeks with class, dignity and sportsmanship shows your true character. This coaching staff have helped us parents turn our sons into fine young man and as a fan and parent I want to take this opportunity to say, "We're proud of all of you!"
