FC had a good effort for the most part the punt feilding was the only low point or should I say really low point. The Curry kid for western Hills took a beating, I hope he can make it through the year behind that hills line. I hope FC carrys on the intensity, and decides now where they want to be in November! How many TD's got called back? How can a center and guard be called for clipping on a d- lineman within the free blocking Zone????

Yes they ran, 6 gassers I believe, I think the coaches were trying to teach the kids to be on time and to be prepared for a tough opponent.

It is way late to be out of shape in my opinion but they appeared to be.

Franklin County got whipped big time, everywhere, I think about 8 or 9 starters were out for injury at one point tonight, 3 or 4 of those layed on the feild at some point. FC looked way out of shape it really showed in the 4th quarter. EJ also had a good game plan and executed it well. EJ was more athletic, tougher, more disciplined, in shape, and the clear winner tonight. The flyers better get ready for rival Hills this week with all the hooplah, and pre-season talk the flyers will have a big ol bullseye on their back the rest of the year.

It is easy to talk about being better than Highlands, Cov cath, Bowling Green, Lex cath, when you won't see them on your schedule.

Whether they are right or wrong parents caring is never a bad thing I just hope the powers to be use some common sense in there deciscions.

That will limit your succes, in this offense but it is tougher than most think on the lineman. The reason the run blocking is more difficult is becuase of all the space involved from the defense, it is easy to stay on run blocks if you are blocking down and doubling all the time.

With all the ball control statements some of you must believe that FC will never stop EJ. Is the defense that bad?

The line play is probably the most complex to master you have to teach them alot of different types of blocking, screens, pass, quick pass, runs, front and defense recognition.

Is this not true with all offenses? You can get by with a little less talent in this O, I know for a fact.

I believe FC is the best of the teams lifted we will have to see if they can make it out of their region, Highlands, Cov cath, are large Mountians to climb.

Gee, Owen county is so fast but I think FHS squeeks by.

I agree Weis, I would have trashed it the second I read it, after I got a few good laughs.

This is the bad part about coaching, but is normal I am sure you would have trouble finding any coach out there that has not got a letter, email, or phone call that wanted him fired or done away with.

People at this school should contact their closest American Legion to take care of this if they do not have the resources to get it played. If they do have the resource people in the community need to step up and get it on the speakers or something. We are a country at war it should be against the law not to play the anthem.

I think that football needs to have a little more time for mandatory practices than they do. I think that baseball and basketball need to be limited a little over the summer, if those things were done, dead period would not matter.

Played on the absolute worst feild I have ever seen. No: Sideline, no hash marks, no grass from about the 30 to the 30. I believe FC had around 500 yds offense, about 280 or 300 on the ground but dropped alot of long passes that were wide open. The FC defense played poorly allowing quite a few big plays for West. What will happen next week?

Sounds like Special teams cost them?

I like Highlands, they way it is right outside their school makes it unique.

I think Anderson can win, but I know Miller will have the Wolverines ready, might be a good game.
