I agree. It gives some of the standout kids in these schools a chance for some special recognition. I may agree about the championship part though.

Seems logical. I think you are right for the most part, although to a young team, emotions may factor in a bit more, just due to maturity. Don't worry, LB, bet we have lots more to agree to disagree about this year!!!

Most of the time you don't see the final product in these "mini-games", but only the coach trying personel various places, etc. The Trojans are due, all things being equal. The Big Green have the home field advantage. With the coach issue, the last year for the Boys from Troy, this game will be more emotionally charged than ever, which could lead to any one of a million outcomes. Neither team, though need to see it as a "season defining" game. It has been a disaster for Cawood to be in that mindset the past few years, it could be equally as damaging to the Dragons if they aren't victorious. Should be a doozy.

It was a three way scrimmage with an offense from one team playing a defense from another. So it wasn't a game atmosphere, however its safe to say that C-Gap and KC scored on the Dragons more. I believe Harlan scored only once, but I may have missed one. Lots of work to do with the youth showing. However the coaches were experimenting with lots of different personel mixes. To my untrained eye, our line play has to be more consistent and Chase has to be able to make quick and good decisions from the pocket.

OK out on a limb goes the Pappy. Low scoring game with both teams learning how to lay wood on the line. Harlan pulls away late with the pass, then opens the run very late. Harlan by 6

Oh, in that case the only issue I have with that scenario is that Administration evidentely directed that no county middle school could play Harlan in football, because Harlan stopped playing the "mega" teams like Bell and New Harlan. Cumberland and Evarts have continued until this season, but now can't because of the pouting. Waaaaaa!

This is a big questionmark for both teams. New coach at Cawood, Lots of Positions to fill at Harlan. Emotions could be in play more than ever. Of course I'm hoping for a Dragon V in the last Rax Bowl, but lots of variables this year!
