Elliott has been convicted for the" Infamous run the score up scheme" I guess you will have to contact the supreme gurus of the sport and have us banned or something, because we definately can't have a small school that might just get lucky and compete, so they have to be ran out of town. To keep from winning by 30 or 40 he would have to sit the starters out for half the game. How conditioned would they be to playing a full game when the chips were down against a really good team. I have seen them score 40 in a quarter. In the 16th:D

I can assure you he is not running it up no more than mason did against pendleton or any other team that wins by 30 or 40. It was common for years for Elliott to be beaten by 30, 40 and sometimes 50. Noone complained then. The people who are doing all the bashing would be playing it about the same if they were in the same shoes. Its easy to sit back and pick someone apart when you dont have a dog in the race!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Generally if a starter is in in the 4th, he sat out most of the second. My kid has played 3-4 minutes of the 4th a couple times, but when he did he sat out 5-6 of the 2nd!!!

They only have 10 on the team sir!! They all play in most games. My kid starts and as I have posted before in most 16th region games hes only playing about 2 1/2 quarters. The easiest way to put it is Coach Mays for the most part mixes it up best he can. I'm sure sometimes someone gets overlooked but that happens everywhere. Point is he has to get his starters used to playing a lot of minutes because with just ten players they have to be conditioned to play a lot of min. especially when playing out of the 16th region. People say a lot of things that dont mean they are entirely correct

You are absolutely right I dont know what they did just like you dont when you are running your mouth about elliotts 16th region games. If you were able to read between the lines you would know the post was sarcastic. just giving it back!! dont dish it if you cant take it

We have a 9th grader in almost the whole game and in the last quarter when were up 30 or 40 there is another 9th grader and the other two subs plays almost the whole 4th............... and!!!!! Does that stop the attacks(over the 40 point wins) that stem from Elliott having one of their best seasons in history...I tell ye nay brother!!!!!!!!!!!! I am not one to say much normally..... but you can twist the most domicile animal in the worlds tail enough and it will bite back!! Just giving a little back:fight:

I mentioned before also Ferguson doesn't have to have 30 shots to get 30 points. He was 11-23(48%) which is a great percentage. The reason he got 23 shots is Grimes and Maille(both had turns at him) could not do nothing with him. He practically scored at will. 5-11 from three(45.4%) thats a really nice percentage against that "lockdown defense". Nonetheless, sounds like a good game. Congrats to CCH and good luck to Elliott County the rest of the year.

No Sir! But what I can tell you is that I haven't kept up with other players minutes, but I have Fergusons and excepting out Christian Co, North OLdham, Grace Academy, Cov Cath, he was only playing around 20-22 min. a game or 2 1/2 quarters. I have yet to see a coach whom lets the other team stay fairly close just to keep from running up the score. Most of the time every player Elliott has plays when it is a 16th region game.

There are lots of 6' to 6-3 point and shooting guards at the mid-major D1 level. Who "I" think can doesn't matter. We will all know the correct answer in about 1 1/2 more seasons You will see though, there will be several players from the 10, 16, Lex area who will play at some level of D1

If you are speaking of high major(you just said D1 no specification) you are absolutely correct. There is however lots of mid major D1 schools and there is several in the Lex, 10th, 16th who can play at the mid-major level. It's still D1 whether major or mid major, and still an honor at either level!!!!!!! All the best to Darius Miller:thumb:

Can we Elliott Fans use the "excuse" of the 4 hr round trip busride wed, thurs, and 2 hrs up fri. plus not much rest from the bench. I know most of yall said it was becauseCC was just so much better! Point is people have bad games an lose. It doesn't necessarily mean your team is inferior. I like your self believe Elliott could beat CC when fully rested first game of a tourney!!!!

I guess its just like all you guys said about Elliott when CC beat them. The high pressure defense got to them and caused their shot to be off. Because it was definately off in the second half!!! "Only" 11-24 45.8 is a pretty good %. I watched the video as I stated the first night twice and again today to make sure my stat sheet was correctand he was 11-23 overall which is 47.8% 2.3%under normal. I wouldnt note that as much of a difference but he was 5-11 from three which is 45.4% 4.6% higher than normal. From these figures one would have to say the defense was about what he usually faces or just a fuzz less.

I would like to read the post where Elliott fans were complaining about the refs. Could you give me the thread and post numbers. Curious as to what they said!!
