The kid had a great night, congrats to him. Of course some highlands fans on here will never give credit to anyone outside their program. So they held him on all but two carries, well those two carries count. I've always said that about five people that post on here would run a close race for the title of the coach Matney of bluegrass preps, any guess what school they root for?

I think this is my thoughts as well. I believe the talent level is getting better and better each year but not quiet on par with CovCath or Highlands. I honestly think id be having ever grade school and middle school team in the county do nothing but pass the ball to start developing young QBs.

I get that and don't disagree but let's be honest thats garbage for grown men to get on here and carry on about. At the end of the day it's high school kids lining up across from other high school kids that matters. I'm just wondering if others ( not the handful of northern ky posters whose only purpose in life is to get on here and bash matney) think JC has the same talent level as those teams.

Honest questions. Do you guys who think a better schedule would help ( which I agree with) think JC is better than Cov Cath ? Because reading it 100 times in every thread leads me to believe that some think JC should be beating their Northern Ky foes based on talent.

I could care less who he plays but when you are one dimensional and run up against better athletes on the other side it will continue to happen. When you can't make adjustments in a game you are in trouble.

That's fair but let's not forget the kids have Internet access as well. CCH outplayed them to tonight but they have no reason to be down on themselves.

I agree with you Tony. If Cov Cath stops the run early it's over. JC has no plan B or adjustments to make. Either lining up and winning the line works or it doesn't. Defense is solid but not great so Cov Cath will score so JC needs to get the run rolling from the start.

My comment said half the JC fans I know. You can count the people I talk high school football with in town without using your toes just fingers. Our friends from the north on here are too easy to get a reaction from. Classic fish in a round tub of water!

Do your even hear yourself? I guess it never gets old for some on here. Only about half the JC fans I know think they will beat Cov Cath and 0% of them believe they can beat Highlands.

Haha nice try. Just because I'm a JC fan doesn't mean I'm crazy. They wouldn't come within 4tds of highlands. I think with the exception of Highlands and Moeller they could be in any of those games. Doesn't mean I think they would have won the other 8 but would have a chance in them.

Half the post say they are hurt while half say no. Why be like the New England Patroits when it comes to injuries? lol

I think JC could have won 6 or 7 with that schedule. 6 would have been more likely.

4-6? I'm interested in this opinion. Break down the schedule and list the six you think they would lose. I'm not saying you are wrong I just haven't seen the schedule.
