  1. You know, I'm starting to think so to. # 20 demonstrated some serious skills, and #1 Mason step up his game and performed in a competitive situation, initially the whole team played well. They need to hold on to that win, because a distraction like 0-4 will hold your teams attention going into the next game, and that could be bad.
  2. GRC, successfully moved the ball well over all, and the enthusiasm was there , its just one of those games were you need to convert and hold on for a sure win because it was there for the taking.
  3. If all GRC, needed was speed to win this game , then they would be 3-0, comming into play Danville friday night. All criticism aside, Danville very well coached, they play with alot of emotion, and they play to win, theres no doudt in my mind, in order for GRC, to qualify to play this team or even beat this team, they need to play there best athletes on both sides of the ball.
  4. T. Lay, 6'2 200 pounder, this kid could be abig help at defense End.
  5. #1 Doug Mason, will be ready to play, 28- 21 GRC.
  6. Bear, usually I 'm a little more specific and a lot more measurable but I'm not in to violateing any rules or upsetting readers, or diehard parents. So let's just leave that one overrated team, alone, plus in time everybody will identify who they are.
  7. Madison Central, Danville, and Henry Clay, I see one over rated team, and two very good team.
  8. 0-3, should be all motivation the coaching staff needs to get the anxiety out of these kids head, I feel like they need additional hype,to push them beyond their optimal arousal level, I may be wrong most of the time when athetes are pushed like that it causes anxiety, right now GRC, needs to win, and they need to start monday at practice, the staff needs to win over these kids uncertainties, and get them to buy back in to there goals as a team. The season starts monday, the failure and insufficient effort in the pass 3 games only increases the importance of keeping your team goal strong, and having a good week of hardcore practices. One last thing last year 06, GRC, team had the best team in the state, hands down, speed, power, and quickness, guess what, GRC? 80% of that team still plays on the 07 team.
  9. ???? you got me, I'm lost, I hope GRC, makes the necessary adjustments to keep away from 0-3.
  10. MNCM, you may have a point there, I also think #17 Conners would make a good strong safety, or cornerback:thumb: Last years running backs for GRC, killed in the red zone, they were deadly 40 yards out, GRC, O-Line will block for any kid that lines up and hit it. # I know #17, he is what you call a east west runner he reads blocks better from east to west thats way he is having problems running up the middle and reading key blocks. Next game I look for Conners to step it up with over a 170 yards and 2 TD's:thumb:
  11. Daydreams, and nightmares, or similar scenarios, I still think GRC, will make a run this year.:thumb: HC 17 GRC 7
  12. GRC, needs to find a feature back, the go to man, let him get established running behind that O-line, and rally the other backs behind him.
  13. #17 Conners, trust your instinct, not your speed. once you start running on sure instincts ,the big runs will come. #20 made a quick break on the ball and picked it clean, great play when GRC, needed.# 21 Willaims for the cards, this kid can fly. There were so many big plays in this game, from both teams it was fun to be there.
  14. I don't care what jersey # conners wearing, all I know is he's a key player for GRC, and as far as why would anyone want to study a film of a game were they had a 28 point lead, and barely escaped, if you don't know the answer to that, then I'm talking to a person that as never played or coached football before. And one last thing, I know both of these coaches and if you ask them the same question, they would probable tell you ,28 points barely escaping, mean's nothing. When a player or coach goe's over a film, they are looking for key bad hibits that a player or players may have. For example, Mason or Curtis may have a weakness that was over looked last year, and can be used this year with Gooch, or Columbias game plan. I hope both teams come out blasting.
  15. Why would he be focusing on # 42, and as far aslast year goe's, are you kidding, watching last years playoff game would improve Gooches game plan and Columbias. I can't imagine why any coach at the start of the season would'nt use last years clips as atool too prepare them for the first game of the season. Key players for GRC, #15 Conners, #5 Lewis,#10 Clark, #1 Mason, #79 Fox, #81 Tackett and my man, Leggitt. All these kids are top key seniors, for GRC.
  16. Dan Gooch, lost to Clark Co by - 4 points last year in the playoffs. 28 - 24 Curtis threw for about 172 yards and rush for 102, after a poor start Montgomery Co, made afew adjustments at halftime and came up with 24 unanswered points to make a killer endding to a great game.
  17. If GRC, can cover the pass and keep Kaleb Curtis in check, they will pull off a 21 - 14 win. On The other hand, MC, want need worry to about stopping #42 Greene, who went about 38, miles south of Winchester, to play football at Eastern Kentucky. But hold on MC, they have about 5 players that can take it to the house any were on the field. 21 - 14, Cards in a close one.
  18. With the lost of #42 Greene, #33 Jones, #32 McCaffery#44 Martin #8 Rogers can the Cards top last years state play off run.
  19. I would like to see the best of East and West, take on norths, All-stars.
