Daydreams, and nightmares, or similar scenarios, I still think GRC, will make a run this year.:thumb: HC 17 GRC 7

I just got in from the game.................

First of congratulations to Harrison Co. on a good hard fought win. Jared Sharp was very impressive and hard a tremendous game.

It would be hard for me to summarize all the things that GRC did wrong in this game. I don't think I have enough time left in the day to go over it all. But if GRC doesn't get the RB situation fixed (learning to running North/South or South/North)    and the QB passing the ball to anyone.............    GRC will not win another game this year. If it wasn't for a play specifically called for #5 the score wouldn't have been this close.

I will support them to the end. I know we all want the to play to their capability.

It just looks like after MC game, they came back and played without that desire and will to win.Hopefully they will be able to right the ship.

Please post final score threads like this in the future.

What do I say...many missed opportunities for the Cards, Just when they looked to score HC made big plays , interceptions, ect to stop the Cards. Talent is there...need some leaders to step up and lead this team. I feel this part hit us hard in graduation. We believe in you guys....believe in yourself.:thumb:

Hats off to a great HC squad...hope you all go far this year.:thumb:

Talked to Robel ,Tristian and Preston all are doing great in college and love it.

GRC came out flat again?

How can you come out flat when you play one game a week?

Back to back weeks is an indictment on the staff and their preparation.

#41 Hisle was injured in the first half...on crutches at half time, and did not see any more action. #10 Clark injured his ankle just before the half. He played second half but was not 100 %. Then another GRC player was taken to the hospital after the game...possible broken leg.

Injuries are a part of the game.

I find it hard for them to come out flat in back to back weeks especially after losing like they did last week.

Came out flat...dont' know where you got that...a key play at the beginning of the game was, #10 Michael Clark did not call for a fair catch...got drilled ... and HC recovers the fumble. A couple of plays later HC TD.

Sounds like Harrison is back and on a roll, who do they play next week?

Harrison Co plays Marion Co. GRC plays Tates Creek.

Did the Williams kid play tonight for GRC? And if he did, how did he do?

There were several key plays in the first quarter alone. Mason taking a 17 yard loss on the first play because he woudln't throw the ball (and there were two open recievers standing in the middle of the field and he had time to throw). #10 Clark with the fumble on the punt, and #17 Conners inability to run straight ahead. Paper said he had 107 yards rushing/21 attempts. If he would have ran straigh ahead on half of those plays he would have had 225 yards. Conners was an AWESOME free safety a couple years back. He seems much better suited to that position or maybe cornerback.

GRC has plenty of leaders on the field and in the locker room. But they cannot let the distraction of certain personalities to keep them from playing team football.

I believe in the program and these young men. The coaches must make moves that are best for the team, and not just certain players. I have watched these young men play football together since civitan. They have unlimited potential, and can bounce back. They have had several injuries and hopefully they reverse the direction they are going.
