  1. Their christmas tourny doesnt draw near the crowd the district would. what else do u think there is to it?
  2. The distirct doesnt rotate because only two of the schools have the facilites to host it. Plus its more exciting for a player to get to play on a college floor.
  3. 3 out of the last 4 years. Last year was the exception.
  4. Model vs. Berea Madison Central vs. Madison Southern Once again the two top teams in the district play in the first game.
  5. Model is going this year and we don't play a team from Kentucky. I know we play three teams from Canada. Not sure where the other teams are from.
  6. The 11th is always one of the toughest in the state.
  7. Trust me, Richmond has far more than 28 hotel rooms. There is a Best Western, Comfort Suites, Days Inn, Econo Lodge, Hapmton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Jameson Inn, La Quinta Inn, Red Roof Inn and Knights Inn. There are also some in Berea which is a 10 minute drive.

  9. Notice that atleast two of those teams won't even make it to regions
  10. While we don't have the largest gym in the world it can seat more than 200. We have a balcony which seats a lot of people on any given night and its actually 5 rows of bleachers not 3.
  11. http://www.richmondregister.com/articles/2006/01/25/sports/sports02.txt For the Article. Sayre (15-2) picked the tempo up with just more than three minutes remaining in the third quarter and got the one run needed to beat Model (4-12) on Tuesday. “I knew it would probably come down to just one run,” Patriot coach Kent Miller said. “I shouldn't have let our guys run. ... We missed a couple of shots in transition and they made theirs.”
  12. Model was up 26-22 at the half but the trend of bad third quarters came back to hurt Model in this one. Sayre moves on to play LCA Thursday which will be followed by Berea and Frankfort. These games will be held at Model.

  14. Model-52 Central-71 I think Model will hang in the game for about a half, but Central's depth will prove to much for them.
  15. I figured it would be a good game. Model has really surprised me so far this season. Let's see if they can keep it up.
  16. They have a lot of experience but also a talented group of younger players. They don't have all that much size, but their center is about 6'4" and is very athletic. They will get up in your face and will play defense and they also have some players who can shoot very well.
  17. Well I was just saying what I know. I wouldn't go and lie about something like that.
  18. Well I did play with Rich all summer and we had a gun on all of our pitchers. You'd be surprised. I know one game where I sat behind the plate with the gun and his fastball didn't fall below 87 the entire game. That game he topped at 91. I wouldn't make that up. Rich is a good 5 tool player. Don't go all crazy in saying people are wrong if you don't know for yourself. If thats not enough proof then you can ask Coach Morse from Danville and I'm sure he'll be glad to tell you.
  19. Rich Witten (Junior) would have to be considered in this group - he threw upper 80's on a regular basis last year reaching up to 92. Michael Bottoms (Senior and signed with Morehead State) and Matthew Robertson (Sophomore) will also be very good this year.
