I heard that Wolfe may have another 'new' player who was at Powell last year. I think that he was a young center, and about 6'4". Crowe?

It seems that Stocker and Sigmon quitting Madison Southern's team didn't hurt the Eagles much. Only time will tell about the rest of the season though.

Any word on why they quit?

I haven't heard why as of yet. I know that it was reported in the Richmond Register that they quit before a late night practice that Coach Butry had after their loss to Lafayette.

Actually, the loss was to LCA. I think that Stocker has in mind in Knoxville and Zichman will be back.

In today's Richmond Register is says it was after Friday's game against Lafayette.

That's the Register for you, Southern lost to LCA on Friday by 28.

Gilbert did OK. Madison Southern did a good job in limiting his involvement, but, he still did a lot for that Wolfe team...what was up toward the end when some fans had to be led out. I was there, just didn't see what happened.

Southern may be better to have lost the disgruntled players. They have some kids that can flat shoot the lights out.

Gilbert is a very nice player. However there are some who tout him as a D-1 player, and that level is too high for him. He will be a good small college player.

As for Crow - How in the world would he be ruled eligible, after so many transfers in a short span?
