  1. Was told Coach Greiser received two technical fouls and was ejected from the game. Hard to believe this mild mannered very professional coach got two in one game. He had only one in his whole career. Officials must have been looking for something.:sssh:
  2. I was at the game Christian County has a nice team. But the indians played from the tip to the final horn. Great effort by both teams.
  3. The Indians were two points away from being in the championship game. They have have played well this whole tournament. They have also been without Nick Hendrix.
  4. Yes they are held, but most coaches and some referees that attend ,don't pay attention and the only ones held accountable are the referees. They have to take the part 2 NFHS test that referees are required to take to make post season.Coachesare not held accountable for the rules and most of them have not read a rule book for years.
  5. Mason County Must have lost..
  6. Well said recpark!!!!!!!Could not agree with you more:ylsuper::ylsuper:
  7. I don't think it was self serving at all, it was an excellent presentation that listed statistics and facts of the program. It also stated that the average life of a coach at GCHS is 3.5 years and the average winning percentage of the football program itself is 41% (somewhere in the low 40's) which shows a very valid point and that is that the support and the all for one and one for all has not been there for the football program since the Bill Trent days, that is just the truth, the stats don't lie.
  8. You are exactly right! Bring someone in from outside the county that knows football and give them total support to turn it around, the statistics don't lie about the program.
  9. Did anyone see what was presented at the board meeting last night about the football program. I heard it was an awesome presentation.
  10. Doc, since you brought it up and it is a good thought, is there anyone out there that knows of a good solid coach/assistant coach from a strong winning program that is looking to relocate and take on a challenge? Any thoughts? Recommendations?
  11. I agree, go outside, give them a 5 year contract with all the tools to succeed and total support of the program.
  12. Greenup County needs to do a legitimate search for a football coach, not someone from the Good ol' boy network of the lower end of the county. That is what is wrong with the school's program now and it will not change unless they bring someone in that knows football and they give complete control of the football program to that coach.
  13. I said at the worst and I meant 7-3 in regular season schedule, my bad... Typo on my part...
  14. Fairview by 1 in a tight battle...
  15. Great posts!:thumb: GCHS will be 8-3 (at the worst) next year if everything that is posted in this post comes to fruition.
  16. Looked great, great crowd. Coach Fraley has energized the base...
  17. I was there, great crowd and a lot of excitement for GCHS, Coach Fraley has energized the base...
  18. Rams, good luck on your game tonight and I truly hope you bring a state championship back to Greenup County. Stay focused.
  19. Great post Coupon and so very true, these seniors need to step up tonight and show everyone what they are truly made of, they will remember this for the rest of their lives, the last game you play sticks with you, win or loose.:fight:
  20. Did you read what sugardaddy said about him, he must not know about refn's all I know...
  21. Raceland by as many as they want it to be.
  22. This game depends on the run game. If Greenup can stop the run on defense and get the run going on offense, they win.
