Does Estill still have the band that plays the bell of the the train coming into town? Never got to play them when I was in school but did witness them at a few regional games in the early 2000's when they were still a part of the 10th.

That's pretty much what I was talking about. I know the kid plays hard and does a really good job at dishing the rock as well as getting everybody in the right spot.

Good to see Ben Uebel with a big game! If he can start to step up here toward the end of the season...watch out!

If memory serves me corectly from 1997 to 2005. The 2005 Brossart team lost a barnburner to Pendleton that year at Bracken County in district play. That was ONE great game that had many back and forths. Barely got into the gym that night it was so jam packed.

He probably scored 8 of those 17 when the game was well in hand and after Jennings had fouled out. I don't think he hit an outside shot until 3 minutes to go in the game.

Pendleton has a nice team. They play really hard. Wouldn't want to see them on my side of the bracket come region time. Monroe struggled a bit tonight against the pressure/physical play of Brossart's guards. Jake Jennings matched up with him for the most part all night until about 4 minutes left in the game. At that point he probably had only 9 or 10 points. I think he finished with 17 or 19. Still pretty good for an off night. He has a really good "feel" for the game. This was a really good game for Brossart. It forced a couple of others to have to step up and they did.

A lot of turnovers too. Very uncharacteristic for Brossart. Uebel fouled out with about 5 minutes to play in the game and thats when things began to dismantle for Brossart. Credit Holy Cross, the press is tough to deal with at the Finn. Hope to see these two play again in Frankfort. VOR, you are correct. That is Brossart's first loss to a KY team. Though their schedule really picks up here in the coming weeks. So we shall see what they are made of.

HC did a really good job guarding Justin Saunders. Don't remember hearing his name in the entire second half.

Final. Awful shooting night for Brossart. One team showed up in the fourth quarter and the other didn't.
