Congrats to T on the win. They were very impressive. Everytime (no matter what year) I watch Trinity, I walk away thinking that they shouldn't have won by that much. I guess at some point they just create those 'breaks' for themselves. DD is right... 3rd and long and short fields killed Ryle's D, who I didn't think played too bad (I left at 27-0 though). Just curious... why was the flag picked up on T's first TD? That was HUGE.

I would venture to say Murray and Gray saw a lot of time in it. Not 100% sure though.

Ryle has what we consider a pretty good line coming from NKY. If they can protect Benke, he throws a good ball.

I agree... I voted for Ryle but it is definitely a heart pick. As much as I want Ryle to win... it's a long shot.

Ran into them early as in the playoffs. Everyone who knows anything about Boone knows that CC was a terrible match-up for them. No doubt in my mind they would have beat Dixie if they played them 1st round.

I will say it's a night and day difference from when I saw Ryle play Boone compared to seeing them in the playoffs for whatever that's worth.

You're going to judge if Boone was close to Ryle by a common opponent instead of the actual game. Boone ran into CC early which is a very bad match-up for them having to defend that kind of offense. To say nobody is close to Ryle in NKY is a joke my man.

Murray is also not the best player since Shaun. He would make a list though if there was one.

I will say CovCath is probably better but won't give you Highlands for sure. CCH would name the score against Ryle? That is a joke.

Brown was just as good a back as Vince is now, if not better, and Davis wasn't too far behind him. So/so at best? geeeeez, tough crowd.

Like I said... this discussion is for a different thread. I'm going to wait and see what happens Thursday night to make my mind up.

I would take Boone in '02 and '04 but that discussion is not for this thread.

Let's see because that's the type of team I believe they are. I saw them get down to Boone and a blocked punt for the Raiders and fumble by Boone was the only way they got back in it. They pass well, but it is clearly set up by the run. If they are forced to just pass... it will get ugly.

I'm going to have to agree with NBLSB (welcome aboard!). Ryle doesn't have a come from behind offense at all. For those of you T fans that haven't seen Ryle play... their offense is very similar to what Boone County is known for.
