  1. This was on KSR of all places. Police raided Cahoots in Louisville for a liquor license violation and searched EVERY patron before they were allowed to leave. I can't imagine that this will go well for them if the ACLU gets ahold of this--provided that they did follow through with their threat to search everyone. 3. I knew the 2nd guy but since I had to look up the first one I'll let someone else figure it out.
  4. Belfry has too much for the Warriors. I'll take the Pirates 35-14.
  5. There's still a Gumbo Ya Ya on Broadway in the same shopping center as Buffalo Wild Wings.
  6. It sucks when you've got players on your fantasy team playing against your actual favorite team.
  7. Yes. I like both it and Bourbon and Toulouse. However, Furlongs re-opened off of Tiverton Way. It's more expensive than either of the other two but it is excellent.
  8. Coach Graves was our dorm director and assistant baseball coach while I was at Campbellsville College. I think he was on the football staff as well but I can't remember for sure. He was a really good guy. Hope he is doing okay.
  9. I was hoping that you would not ask me who won the overall batting title that year as part of the question. I did not remember who it was. I don't think I would have ever gotten Eddie Murray without looking it up. The rest of the question I remembered well.
  10. I remember that one well. It was Willie McGee. He was traded from the Cardinals to the A's in 1990. The oddity was that, although he had enough at bats to qualify and win the NL title, if you added his performance with the A's to that of what he had already done with the Cards his overall batting average was lower than the NL runner-up. That meant that the overall MLB batting champion didn't lead either league because the NL runner up had a higher average than the AL winner.
  11. Morehead travels to Richmond to take on Eastern at Roy Kidd Stadium. Kickoff is at 6:00 PM. EKU is 2-0 with a pair of road wins to open the season, 29-10 vs. Robert Morris and 17-10 over FBS Miami (Ohio). Morehead is 1-1 with a 55-10 loss to Richmond and a 49-36 win over NAIA UPike. This is an in-state rivalry game and MSU was upset with a fake punt that EKU ran in the 4th quarter of last year's game at Morehead. Who ya got?
  12. Staying Alive Contest Week #4 Great job picking the games this week. Only 3 misses out of the whole group. Unfortunately those 3 posters already had one miss and were eliminated. 3 other posters did not turn in picks and were eliminated as well. The following posters are still alive with no misses and are eligible to continue: PurplePride92 dmh115 rjs4470 Rebel ksowards Tiger1988 AverageJoesGym Jack of all Trades The following posters are still alive but have one miss and are eligible to continue. We are going to be doing our Staying Alive Contest again this season. As before the concept is pretty simple--but we have made a couple of changes. The object is still to pick the winners of the 6 games every week. This season there will be a $200 prize for the winner! But it's not quite as simple as just picking winners, there is a lot of strategy involved. Here's how it works: There is a major change this season so be sure to READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! •Each week you will pick six teams that you believe will win that week. These teams can be from ANY Classification. •Teams chosen must be playing a team from their class or HIGHER. EXCEPTION: You may choose 6A teams that are playing other 6A teams OR 5A teams. •You may only pick an individual team to win one time. For example, if you pick Trinity to win in Week #1 you cannot pick Trinity again the rest of the season. •In past seasons once you missed one game or picked a game that did not meet the contest criteria you were eliminated. This season, however, will be DOUBLE ELIMINATION. It will take 2 missed games to eliminate you. For example if you pick five out of six games in Week #1 you would be eligible to continue on to Week #2. If you miss a second game in Week #2 or any week after that then you are out. Also, if you miss 2 games in one week you are out. •If you cannot submit an entry with 6 teams that are playing a team in their class or higher each game that you cannot submit counts as a miss. •If you do not submit an entry for any week you are out. •Everyone that has one miss or less will be able to advance to the next week. •If you are eliminated or do not compete in any week you will not be eligible to continue. •This season we will giving a cash prize of $200 to the winner. •The contest will run until there is just one winner. Your entry should be in the following format: TEAM TEAM TEAM TEAM TEAM TEAM Do not post anything that is not an entry. If you do so, the post(s) will be deleted. If you are not eligible to participate (eliminated in a prior week), DO NOT POST IN THIS THREAD. The deadline for all entries is 5 pm (EST) Friday. Good luck to all!

  14. If he was ejected he will be watching from the sidelines next week.
  15. Southwestern immediately completes an 85 yard pass for a touchdown. 28-7 Southwestern now, still 3rd quarter.
