  1. You wanted to know about hitters and I told you who the best contact hitter on Rose Hills team was if you dont want to know dont ask
  2. Rose Hill has some very talented young kids, with the right coaching I think this team could be a good team in a couple of years. Im not saying they could win the region, they could pull off an upset every now and then and possibly do well in the class A.
  3. Rose Hill has no power hitters, they should play small ball more. Conner Robinson is the best contact hitter that they have.
  4. The girls that will be playing varsity for Rose Hill will be very young but I gaurantee they will play hard for 32 minutes and they will never give up. The players on this team know they are going to be smaller and outsized all year but they will have no fear, they will show up every game and give all they have. Give these girls a couple of years and they will be back on top.
  5. I do not see any problem with playing high school ball and then playing babe ruth or whatever league you can play at your age level. Most coaches in babe ruth understand that high school comes first and then they can play with them. As far as pitchers they should not be allowed to pitch in babe ruth until the high school season is over.
  6. Rose Hill 84 Elliot 70
  7. No they did not play last night. Bellevue was out of school most of the week due to the flu.
  8. Rose Hill will be going to Myrtle Beach this year. This is the best turnout for ballplayers they have had in a long time. They actually have enough for a j.v. team and a varsity team.
  9. Emily Queen 19 Britt Faulkner 10 Lindsey Adkins 7 Kaylyn Gambill 3 Maria Friley 2 I am pretty sure this is right Himmelfarb will give more details. No T s

  11. I think for the next couple of years they will have some trouble but they are going to become a good team. Most of these girls have played up every year and they have handled it very well. If this group stays together they will be tuff in a couple of years.
  12. Very good post by Gottarebound.
  13. Raceland did a great job tonight shutting down the big girls. Hope the Vanderhoof girl is ok and is able to play Saturday. Good luck.
  14. They may take their lumps for a couple of years but then they will be a pretty good team. Remember you are talking about 6th and 7th graders trying to play varsity now.
  15. Perhaps those 6th and 7th graders never played that much last year because they were not needed. The 3 seniors need to learn to give up a basket every now and then instead of fouling.
  16. The younger ones that play always seem to give 100% but are completely out of the offense.
  17. sorry about the somerset just going by what schedule said.
