Chicken Meatball Slider with Buffalo Sauce.....Very good. Pork Meatball Slider with Parmesan Cream Sauce.....Very solid meatball, sauce not the best though. Beef Meatball Slider with Parmesan Cream Sauce....Again good meatball, made the wrong sauce choice.

While the wait stunk, the food itself was well worth it. Fairly large portions as well IMO.

Finally made it to The Eagle in OTR Saturday night.....Had heard nothing but great things, so expectations were incredibly high, and it blew them out of the water....Phenomenal. We got 2 orders of Brown Sugar Bacon (if you like Bacon, you should probably just order 4 of these and call it a meal), a side of their 5 cheese Mac & Cheese, a side of their homemade spoon bread, and 2 fried chicken sandwiches (the spicy pickles and mayo are out of this world good). To top off the great taste, it cost less than $30 for all of it. One downside is the wait. When we got there (7:45) we were told they couldn't guarantee us a seat until midnight. We were the 41st group on the wait list. Ended up getting seated around 9, and that's only because we're friends with a server.

No doubt. My whole point was, it's poor form to knock the college choice of any of these young men, and even poorer form to use the University they've chosen to continue playing at as a means for saying they don't belong as a finalist.

Point remains the same....Also, it could be argued, and successfully I might add, that Vermont is a better basketball program than Rice....Rice hasn't sniffed the NCAA in almost 45 years....

Made this for Sunday's football watching... 2 lbs. ground beef 2 (16oz) cans drained kidney beans 2 (14.5oz) cans diced undrained tomatoes 1 (8oz) can tomato sauce 2 chopped medium onions 1 chopped green pepper 2 cloves minced garlic 2 tablespoons chili powder 2 tablespoons cayenne pepper 1/2 jar diced jalapenos w/ juice 1 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 teaspoon salt 1.5 teaspoons paprika 1/8 teaspoon oregano 1 can beer Cook on high for 4-6 hours, on low 8-10 hours.

I see it as the best two teams in NKY playing. While Holmes is probably the favorite, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Brossart won.

I think Holmes probably wins, but would Brossart winning really be an upset?
