The only thing this post has to do with thread is up downs. I played at FHS in the stone age, and I remember my junior year we were playing Leslie County in our season opener and it was hot as Haties. At the end of the 3rd quarter they all did up downs on the field, and we were ahead 30-0. My buddy looked at me and said man I'm glad we're ahead.

I didn't see the flag either and if the clip was on EJ it was closer to the 50 that's why I thought nothing was marked off. Must've been one somewhere else on the play.

Oldone I know they brought the play back, but it looked like they marked it at the point of the clip and didn't mark off the penalty. Did I see that wrong?

I have and I was there glad you know more about than I do.

I would have to disagree on this being the best line FHS has had. It is the most experienced, but I don't think most talented. Previous lines had Josh Smith and Myron Moore at tight end, so thats one spot I could name others , but no need to. Counties line won the battle of the trenches every year except the first year which coincedentally Frankfort won.

That's funny before the Frankfort game you were talking about they had the best line they had in years.

Players gave it all they had on both sides of the ball. I thought it was a fairly sloppy game with all the FC penalties and the FHS turnovers. Again both teams played extremely hard and from where I was good sportsmanship. Hats off to the Flyers, two plays killed Frankfort all night.

You need to save that we may need it at halftime in the future. When I ran the youth league along with help from Coach Roberts, Coach Webb and Coach Lucas we put on a clinic for the youth league coaches. Coach Harp from Danville, Grant Satterly who has reffed high school ball since the stoneage coach Graham from I think Harrison county and some others came in and spoke. I thought it was very beneficial to all involved and would be a good thing to look into.

The Deuce is loose in Bellepoint to cheer on the Panthers in a classic!! Outside of a Cliffside slawdog I can't think of anything better to be a part of in the capitol city on a Friday night!! Any score predictions Deuce? Chili dogs are better. Duece needs to lay off of 'em anyway.

Scheduling correctly if you're starting a program don't overschedule.Get some winnable games on it starting out. As you get better step up your level of competition. 5. Parental support from fundraising to believing in your coaches and not bad mouthing them in front of players. 6. Hard work, dedication, and a since of pride are all givens.

You're right my bad, but most of the time unless a game is totally out of hand pretty much anything goes in the first half.

My bad the first didn't belong on here either. If they don't know the difference in a pooch kick and an onside maybe they shouldn't comment. Anyway the kick mentioned was in the first quarter.

We all know coach Thacker got the FHS program headed in the right direction when he was there. FHS hadn't been to a playoff game for I don't know how long and made it there in his first year. As I have said on here before Thacker got it headed in the right dierection and Foley has taken it to the next level. I do remember one year since going to County he was on the sideline as he had the kicker kick to where he was standing, don't know where he picked that up. If you study film most teams have tendicies, and run certain things out of certain sets. Probably has more to do with that than having coached at FHS before.
