  1. I feel like Wagner had a solid year until the injury he dealt with toward the end. He took a step down from that point on.
  2. What surprised me from the show was the pretty unanimous agreement that Cal has gotten lazy. That wasn't just from the KSR guys, but also from Cal's buddy Seth Greenberg. And how evidently, other people have tried to talk to Cal about that. They also said, and it was Drew Franklin specifically who said, that two assistants on Cal's staff are "stealing money." They didn't specify the assistants. Also criticized the staff for not having any representation whatsoever at the Sweet 16 to watch Travis Perry or Malachi Moreno. In short, it was a discussion that did not paint Calipari and his staff in the most positive light.
  3. I listened to KSR yesterday for the first time in forever. It was my impression that the assistants did not get the information of that deal to Calipari. Maybe I understood that wrong.
  4. I think we could be in the very early stages of a huge shift in the college basketball landscape. NIL has changed everything.
  5. Houston really crapped the bed down the stretch of regulation.
  6. That doesn't feel like a murderers row of replacement candidates. I would definitely prefer Holloway of the 3 though.
  7. I have no strong feelings about any name out there other than Jay Wright or Billy Donovan, but I don't see them being realistic options. I would probably be most fine with Bruce Pearl, even though he hasn't had a load of March success. If I had to guess, I don't think Calipari will be back, but neither do I think he will be fired. I think Barnhart has the leverage between the two and that he'll use it. He won't fire Cal, but I think he's going to communicate to him that he has the money to buy him out now or in the future. Basically let it be known that he's replaceable and he will not have full control next season. Then the ball will be left in Calipari's court, and the two sides will reach an agreement and Cal leaves. It's to no one's benefit for Calipari to coach at UK next season. And I don't think he will.
  8. Storybook career for Travis Perry. And what a thrilling moment for that team and community.
  9. Love him. I wouldn't be sad if he was our coach, but I also don't know if he's the guy.
  10. I haven't seen Noah, but he's certainly making this a discussion. Props to him for making the most of this opportunity.
  11. Really pulling for Lyon County, but I think Great Crossing will be too much.
