Beechwood beat Conner in a scrimmage pretty bad. The only teams I would have in front of Beechwood would be CovCath, Simon Kenton and maybe Ryle..

Wow!! Surprised by the lack of kids on this. Especially since I know 2 from Beechwood that have had multiple D1 coaches show up last Spring to talk with them.. Plus I would add Nelson Perrin from Scott for sure.

All according to what kind of offense they run. If they throw the ball around I could see them being pretty good..

For the most part Beechwood is on par with any large school in NKy in baseball and football. There are a lot of kids that would start at almost any large school.. The large schools just have more depth from the amount of total kids that go there.

The head coach will be named on August 3rd according to an email I received.

When do interviews start? I heard last week there were 13 applicants so far with two being from Florida.

Relates really well with kids of that age. He has played at almost the highest level you can play and knows the game..

I think Chris Curley would make a great coach at the HS level.

(9th Region Final) Drew Rom was dealing! The last batter of the game Drew hit 90mph on the gun..Birds were a little sloppy in the field with 4 errors. Hennigan and Finfrock with big hits.. Congrats Birds!!

Highlands has 3 of their top 4 pitchers left for Thursday Rom, Dreeves and Cramer.. Coach Baioni does a great job of managing that staff and their pitch counts..

For Castleman Louisville, Miami Oh, UC and maybe Purdue?

I know Castleman and Derry have had several D1 schools stop at Beechwood to meet with them.
