I know this has nothing to do with the game, but if I may go on a tangent for a second. First of all, let's not get our pants in a bunch. I was just having some fun. I assume you were the gentleman I was sitting next to last night. It worked out and everyone was happy. The objections you heard last night have more to do with history than you and your friends specifically. As I told you last night, I've been sitting in that spot since...well, since that spot was built. In years past, it was myself and others who just happened to stand around there. When other disabled people needed a spot they were always welcomed in. But then it started to be abused. People started getting chairs out of the locker room and lining them up along there for just anybody. It has turned into kind of a mess and I wish we could roll the clock back. I sat there because I had no place else to go. Some sit there just because it's there. I know you said you got chased away by the UC fans the week before and didn't feel wanted in the stands...but they had no right to tell our fans where they can be. If you want to be up there you should be. As for your friends, like I said, we get a lot of people "parking" there who just find it a nice place to sit. Meanwhile, I saw two guys in wheelchairs sitting in the end zone because they had no place to go. If you have a legitimate inability to sit elsewhere, that is fine. And we always welcome fellow Bird fans. But I do hope you understand why everyone was questioning you and your two buddies when you sat there. Hope this clears up any misunderstanding. And you're more than welcome back next week....just don't sit in my parking spot. P.S. Enemy invaders WILL be tossed over the rail!

Hey now! Those are my peeps you're talkin' about! (Although, I don't claim a couple of 'em.) I almost didn't get to sit there tonight. Had three Bluebird interlopers sitting in my spot when I got there. Thankfully (for them), they were rooting for the right team. Had they been the enemy, we would have been obligated by the Code of The Mighty Mean Bird to unceremoniously toss them over the rail! :jimlad:

True. Oh, one last thing. For the love of God, PLEASE don't do the interview with Coach Mueller on the JumBirdtron! That was the "awkward moment" of the night. It would be bad enough during a close game, but during a first half blowout, it was not cool. Let's not do that one anymore.

Everyone seems to be in agreement on that. They showed a few replays last week, but I didn't catch any this week. I think there is a rule about it though. I believe they aren't allowed to show any play that might make the refs look bad.
