If good attendance is what the KHSAA wants, then move the games to "normal" high school times, such as Friday and Saturday nights. I would love to have went to the Russell game but 11:30 am? GEEZZZ! What about the working people?

Will they score like they did against JC back in October? I'm guessing they get shut out.

I went to the Boyd/Johnson Co. game last Friday and thought the PA guy was awesome! They're sound system is top notch to say the least. Johnson Central fans are probably as nice as they come! I thought the RoadRunner "beep beep" when Grimm scores was hilarious. I'm afraid GIAT will be hearing that noise in his dreams all summer after Friday night.:lol:

I like Mason Co. in this one: 20 14 I was suprised last Saturday how Ashland seemed to play with little emotion. Penalties nearly cost them, big plays saved them.

Boyd will miss Gatlin Barker if he can't go. He separated his shoulder in the beginning of the Boyd/Ashland game. I was suprised that wasn't mentioned in threads or the paper. He is a staple in the backfield and on defense. Boyd missed him Saturday night. It's hard to replace a 2way starter for sure. I don't think J.C. will have a problem Friday night. Like you, I hope it's an injury free game. I would like Johnson Central to go all the way if the keep advancing. Future is looking a lot better in Lion land. The team gets better every week,, signs of a good coach IMO.

I think the consensus seems to be about the gate. As Jeepman said: If that's the reason say so. It will make you a bit more honest and truthful in the future cancellations to come.

If anyone knows the field conditions on here,, I would say it's you Painter. Thanks for the update. A lot of people try to change their family or work schedules around Friday night. I know of a few people driving in from out of town to attend. Probably on the way now. So I'm sure it's unhandy for a lot of fans.

I apologize if I "personally attacked" any Tomcats and their fans Catdaddy. It looks suspect to me,, but it's only my opinion.

How could I be insulting the kids when they have no control of the cancellation? I'll bet the kids are more dissapointed than the fans.

It just makes you program look unethical, right or wrong. Ashland is laying some devastating groundwork for their integrity. Of course that's just me talking.

I guess that's an opinion some people have. Majority would seem to be on the other side. What's the point of cancelling an outside sporting event if you don't want to play it in weather outside. I think they stacking the deck just like the Russell game. It's a shame. Ashland in reality should'nt need a lot of excuses with Boyd it seems. It'll just make a win(if they get one) look cheap.
