  1. It was a truly great show. Graham's voice was flawless, even at 75. My only disappointment was that he didn't play "Simple Man", which has been a staple of his live set for 45 years and holds a special place in my heart... But ultimately the show was still great without it. Graham Nash Concert Setlist at Lexington Opera House, Lexington on August 1, 2
  2. Probably nobody. Threads tend to die when I get involved. :lol2:
  3. Better than sharing an article that will be criticized for its bias, here is the text from his tweets. "After consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. Military. Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail." No commentary from me since I'm at work. Just sharing.
  4. Over who? I'd be interested to see your list.
  5. I think I said this elsewhere on here, but the huge something is a long weekend (Thursday - Monday) in Seattle complete with tickets to watch the Seahawks play the Texans. I'm no longer upset about the Weeknd tickets.
  6. Nah. He gets props for being the first but he's at best the 4th ranked QB in their lineage... And considering they've been far from a QB centric team historically, that's not good enough for top 10. Granted, he was the first QB for an expansion team and may have done more with a better supporting cast.
  7. Because everyone else is doing it, and I conform... Active players included and make up a good chunk of my list, which shouldn't be surprising. This will be limited to guys who did their best work as a Seahawk, so no Jerry Rice. :lol2: 10. Matt Hasselbeck 9. Richard Sherman 8. Shaun Alexander 7. Russell Wilson 6. Earl Thomas 5. Marshawn Lynch 4. Kenny Easley 3. Cortez Kennedy 2. Steve Largent 1. Walter Jones Guys like Curt Warner, Dave Krieg, and Steve Hutchinson (:poop:) are just outside my top 10. Big Walt is my clear #1, and I feel about him the way that Bengal fans feel about Munoz. I loved watching him pancake guys... Penalized for holding only 9 times in his career, and hardly ever allowed a sack. The ideal LT.
  8. I credit that to the amount of news outlets out there today. You hear about the negative because that's what sells. There's always been evil in the world, it's just easier to hear about now than ever before. That said, social media absolutely does play a part. Kids are exposed to so much now that it's genuinely hard for them to process what they should care about. It's not an excuse, but I definitely see where the seeds have been planted.
  9. Windmill makes an excellent breaded chicken sandwich. :lol2:
  10. Say what you will, but I have to believe that most kids would not have had this reaction.
  11. At least you can walk across the parking lot and get a decent meal at The Windmill.
  12. There's a Brookshire Inn where the Super 8 used to be. Other options are the Landmark, Hampton Inn, or Hilton Garden.
  13. I think he should be paroled given the parameters, but I 100% think he killed his wife. But that ship has sailed.
  14. I'm not at all surprised he was granted parole. But it's so hard to separate the murders from my mind.
  15. He was very close to Chris Cornell and spoke at his funeral. Today was Chris' birthday. At first glance, it doesn't seem like coincidence.
  16. Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington has committed suicide ... TMZ has learned. Law enforcement sources tell us the singer hanged himself at a private residence in Palos Verdes Estates in L.A. County. His body was discovered Thursday just before 9 AM. Chester was married with 6 children from 2 wives. TMZ
  17. He may be granted parole, but I don't think anything he's said has done him any favors.
  18. I haven't seen Vikings, but I loved The Sopranos. That said, there were episodes when it felt like absolutely nothing happened. I'd watch wondering why I was still watching and when the credits rolled I couldn't wait for the next episode. I could do without any dream sequence/fantasy episodes though.
  19. I've never been, but I've always wanted to go. I'm going to Seattle for a Seahawks game this fall, and plan to go to the Museum of Pop Culture. I'm pretty excited for that.
  20. That was really heartbreaking. Watched it last night right before bed and it threw me off.
  21. To expand on Springsteen, he's not the best singer. He's not the best guitarist. But he is an absolute entertainer. Watch the video of 10th Avenue Freeze-out from the Live in NYC DVD. I can't find it on YouTube, but if you haven't seen it you have to watch it. It's what ultimately won me over.
