  1. Sorry, no. A PUBLIC school has no right to.dictate the love life of their students.
  2. I have a problem on the coaches deciding whether players should be in monogamous relationships our not.
  3. Can anyone here explain this? Why is the line holding at 4.5?
  4. This is not sandbagging. If Wichita St had beaten UK, I would like Louisville's chances of repeating, but Kentucky is just a terrible matchup for Louisville. Unless Mathiang suddenly levels up into Gorgui Dieng Junior, I just don't see it.
  5. The Kenpom and Sagarin predictor beats the pants off of the RPI, obviously, but I'm sure the argument against them would be that they would encourage breaking it off on the other team as they take margin of victory into consideration (as if the human polls don't.)
  6. For the sake of objectivity, I'll throw in that time Trezl could have been charged with assault was also a no-call.
  7. Or maybe it was the review of the review? There was actually a lot to pick from.
  8. Close second was the no-call on the missed dunk by Trezl early in the game, but (at least?) that had a make-up call on the other end. That game was FULL of make-up calls. Pretty poor effort by the crew both ways.
  9. I thought the most egregious call was the no-call on calling timeout with none left.
  10. 1) Keeping Jurich in the dark was a discourtesy, period. Especially as he has been upfront with saying all he wanted was for Strong and the other school to let him know they were talking. 2) I think not talking about it was the right thing to do with the media. 3) There are maybe two handfuls of college jobs in the country that aren't stepping stone jobs to Texas. 4) I agree. 5) This, however, is horse pocky. For one thing, Louisville's attendance was the best it had ever been this year, against possibly its worst schedule. Louisville sold out it's tickets to the Belk Bowl two years ago and had great support in their last two bowls as well. I don't know where you got the talking point about Kentucky, but percentage-wise Louisville kills them in attendance. In fact, Louisville comes pretty close to matching Kentucky in raw numbers in a smaller stadium with a much smaller fan base, and if you subtracted the visiting fans I'm absolutely sure that number gets even closer.
  11. I disagree about that. Lots of top coordinators are available, as is the single greatest offensive mind in college football.
  12. Only if he and Teddy were a package deal.
  13. Not unless he has an actual job offer for Jurich to consider matching.
  14. A) Is that actually a requirement? B) He reinjured it this season. C) Do you really think the NCAA would deny a medical redshirt request from the player with the highest profile injury since at least Willis Mcgahee?
  15. "Screw your planetary crises and interstellar genocides, I've got some Louisville Basketball to watch." - Presumably, the Last Doctor.
  16. Yeah, 2 is real tight lipped. Kid never speaks his mind. Like in all those football threads, where he mindlessly praises the play-calling.
  17. So, to recap, Ware is eligible for a medical redshirt and has access to extra-dimensional season basketball tickets where he gets to watch several thousand games a year.
  18. God you're such a Louisville homer. Get outta Rick's shorts. Also, maybe you shouldn't run everything you hear by Tom Jurich.
  19. Is there some sort of state law that puts a cap on AD pay? They created a position to better reflect his place in the University's structure. Jurich's work has done as much for the University as that of any other individual; likely more. You know why?
  20. Of Athletics. They created the position for him.
  21. Jurich is a VP at UofL and the fans are sure he walks on water. There is not a more powerful AD in the country. You're wrong on this one, you should just let it go.
