I post about a BASKETBALL game 6 years ago b/c a GCHS fan was talking about baseketball for some reason. He made a comment I didn't understand and I made reference to it with a fact.

Score is alot closer then game was trust me. JV played most of the 4th qtr. Anyway back to football... SW will be fine without them. Some others must step up. AverageJoesGym what kind of car do you drive a “ford” perhaps? EDIT: Thanks Rebel for the comments you guys have a fine program over there. One thing I have noticed about the Boyle County community whether a Rebel or an AD fan people are happy for the other team. Unlike most in Pulaski Co. Alot of the talk is just the Pulaski Co way. “Be little and/ or down others." Instead of being happy for the community. I probably started something with this comment but truth hurts.

Slink thanks for clearing that up...... I wasnt sure b/c I haven't heard about GCHS doing anything? :sleep: I do remember beating them in the 1999-2000 basketball season atGC. They had a long home winning streak or something and got blown out of the gym. Coming to the game Friday a SW?

Boyle CO will be fine alot of young talent. That #9 (QB) is a tough kid. SW beat him to death last night and he kept playing and trying to make plays. Great heart from him. Boyle is going thru a rough time right now but will be fine. Still a very good Team....Good Luck the rest of the year!!!

Adam White from Southwestern. The kid is probably one of the most athletic kids to ever come thru SW and that is saying a lot. He has a ton of potential and ability. He can run, throw, make people miss, and out run people he is the whole show. As long as he continues to get better and grow he will be a star. Can play any spot on the field and play it well. Just needs some confidence, and experience.

Yes he was good. Also had 4 others guys on that team Go D1 as well. If memory serves me correct SW only ran for 58 yards that game against Boyle.

When you practice horrible you play horrible simple as that.

The kickers have not had proper amount of practice days to play in a game. The new kicker who alot will know from the basketball court is Jonathan Edwards. He can flat out kick a football.

IMO SW is in a no win situation other then the score board when it comes to playing SHS. If they win then they should of won, if they lose they lost to a class A team, if they play them tough then they aren't as good as they are supposed to be. A WIN IS A WIN IS A WIN. SHS always plays SW tough as history points out. SW came out flat case closed. SW is as good as advertised and will show it thru out the season. Good luck to SHS as they have a great football player at WR.

With all Due Respect to SHS, your post, and you. With the Record against SW, and all the stats you threw out. Whatever the reason was why SHS wouldn’t play us in 1999. I mean all the rumors and talk ( I know you didnt say anything about that, but I have heard talk for 6 years now) about Coach a not wanting to play SHS... Well that’s a load of crap. SW plays the toughest SCH of any school in the county year in and year out. He has never turned down a chance to play a top notch team. (Danville, Boyle (Non-district years), Trinity, Highlands, Glasgow etc....) No one will know the true reason why the bash in 1999 didn’t go down oh well I am over it. We got our game that same year although in Basketball. We stomped SHS twice by 20 + including the District title game but lets compare apples to apples here.... Yeah SHS made it to Semi-state, and we lost to BE in the 1st round (heard it a 1000 times I know I played I was there) However SHS came home to Somerset with the same thing we left SW with the night we lost to BE. A LOSS. Just b/c you made it farther doesn’t mean squat. Just delayed the Inevitable…. Somerset is/has been a great program for many years. SW has been a great program for about 12 years now. # Of D1 players or size of the school really means nothing to me. If a team is ready to play a team is ready to play regardless of size. That being said hope tonight is a great game and good luck to both teams. GO WARRIORS!!!

Never once said that. In fact I'm pretty sure I said " I know Coach Girdler was happy with his guys on the D-line. They can always improve no doubt about that as can any team" Everyone can improve always...I was just saying what I saw D-ville run the most of all night. The Orbit Sweep, and the stretch play.

D-ville ran mostly the orbit sweep to the outside and off tackle (stretch) plays......Don't remember many up the middle.

While Cole is a great football player. I don't think he will have the same impact @ WR that he did last year. Teams will be geared up for him, and ready to stop him. I hope SHS has a great year and wins every game but 1.
