Closer game that I expected...maybe Central is making strides and will make a run at the playoffs. Good luck to both teams...Go Central!!

I wasn't at the game but from listening on the webcast he seemed to do pretty good. He only threw 6 passes and completed 2...1 being a TD pass to his brother. Pikeville moved the ball up and down the field the whole game but just couldn't get the ball in the endzone...they failed to score 4 times when they had the ball inside the 20...3 of those drives ended inside the 10. Soph. Daniel Harmon carried the ball 20 times for 176 yards...A much needed win tonight! Good job Panthers and good luck Prestonsburg.

This kid will be a stud...When McAnnallen is a junior and Harmon is a senior Pikeville will not only have one of the top backfields in class A but possibly the state.

Henry Clay - 44 Bell County - 14 I do hope that Bell plays them close or beats them and with the game being on Log Mountian you never know...Henry Clay looked very good against Boyle County though and I don't think they will have to much of a problem against Bell County.

Congrats to Middlesboro on the win...the Jackets seem to be much improved and have the potential to make a deep run in the playoffs. I have a lot of respect for Lynn Camp as well...the Campers have been one of the top teams in Class A Region 4 the last decade. They may be a little down this year but they will be fine. Good luck to both teams...

Henry Clay had all their starters out by then. They scored 46 unanswered points to end the game and I don't think they scored in the 4th quarter.

Henry Clay did look VERY good tonight...I say they are a legit top 5 team in the state. Good luck to the Devils, I would like to see them make a deep run in the 4A playoffs. Boyle will bounce back and have a good season...they are a great program that will continue to produce good teams and players.

Final Congrats East...you guys seem to have a very good team this year. Pikeville starts the season 0-2 and needs a win bad next week against Prestonsburg.
