They were 5-5 on the season heading into the playoffs with the record that you think proves so well why there schedule was the best thing anyone under the sun could have put together. We lost one game. They lost five. We're four games better on my paper, what's your's say?

Sure about that, you seem to want to support them here enough? I''ve met tons of Trinity supporters on here who wear other teams colors in public.

Bully bully bully.... we play better teams and breathe better air because we're from Louisville where all things good originate.... yada yada yada... :popcorn: Fact is, Dixie played a schedule that most 6A schools can identify with. They play in district, in region competition. If you can't schedule in region competition that's not my fault. Every other team in the state seems to be able to do so. We would not play trinity's schedule even if we could. Why would we? Which is the real question. Why did you have to play that schedule and why did you only average a 500 regular season if your the end all be all?

If your dumb enough to believe a game on Aug. 30th has any bearing on the state championship game being played on Dec. 6th, then by all means, keep posting. :jump: :popcorn: :jump:

Quite full of yourself aren't you. That's always a nice trait to have. Why would this bother you? I wouldn't take it personal about any team I've ever been affiliated with if someone said that. And to be honest I don't think I've read anywhere where someone said this. Please post an example. One will do. I think it goes without saying though that most teams don't feel afraid before or after the game regardless of the scoreboard. Being fearful and respectful are two different things.

And Your drive will be less so you'll need less tissues. Dixie is for real. They made it to the title game because they are good enough to be there. There's No one to choke against in a mud bowl the next week too. Talking bad about a team that I remember as being touted the state champs in hindsight is beneath you and the rocks. That team was very good. We were better.

This is because anything good in football must come from louisville right? I remember you guys not giving us a chance the last two times we played. The first was in doubt for a long time. The second, well I'm sure you remember. We walked into your house and snapped your unbeaten at home streak. We won. People doubted then, they doubt now. The Colonels don't. We believe.

I agree. The reason is that two posters from cooper are basically saying play the kid at all cost so we win, and the rest of us are trying to get through to them that actions have consequences. Now, both of them are finally admitting that that's true, but they still want to dictate what those consequences are. Where else in life does that happen? What are we teaching our kids if we allow their views to go unquestioned? I guarantee the next person to step out of line on coopers team will know the consequences before it's handed out. I've had three boys grow up and learn similar life lessons that their consequences have actions. It's made them better men. If these few posters will stop posting and let it settle it might happen for them and that young man. And more importantly we can talk about the game and the great season cooper had uninterrupted. Which is the way it should be.

I believe the word you are searching for and can't find is Discipline. The player lacked it, and the coach was trying to instill it in his team.

There are consequences for actions, whether those actions be physical or in the state of words. This young man learned that tonight if he doesn't have parents who are as backwards thnkng as you. Things happen in life. The first thing that needs to happen before you point a finger is identify what you or the injured party may have done to contribute to the situation. Based on what you and others said it appears the reason is something that bears inward reflection. Enough said. The kid is either going to get the message or not. More importantly, generations Of under classman will have an example to not follow in the future. Class exists regardless of which class you play in. Thank you coach for demonstrating yours.
