  1. I may not have been paying attention back then but I have never heard the story (or anyone from X say that) about X being mad that T got someone from out of town? All in all this seems to be a pretty accurate post. I think regardless of any actions, words, etc. these two coaches would not like each other. They are just way to different type of people.
  2. Let's go Highlands! Is it Cov Cath the one that has the fun cheering section? Sorry if this is a dumb question (but I can and will play my chemo brain card on this one!) :lol::lol:
  3. Hoosier I thought I had put a :lol: after my first point. Sorry about that. In T standards I guess you could say they came out flat. I think more so they were challenged by a very good team. They made the adjustments needed and won the game. I will eat crow if needed when I post something outlandish on here. I don't take offense to what you said. For the record I don't use the words "my team." I do not own T or any other team. I simply enjoy watching football/sports. I also like to support the success (on and off the field) of the young men apart of T and many other teams.
  4. The sandbox is OPEN for business! It's going to be interesting watching all you kids play it in this week! :lol::lol::lol::lol: Now back to the game... What is the overall series of this game. I think X leads it but not by much?
  5. I agree. How many tackles did Dawkins break on the TD? Truly amazing stuff!
  6. Hey I can eat crow on that post...unlike some on here! So simmer down there hooiser!!! I was at the game. Cathedral is very good and quick. First half was a battle. We all know the game doesn't end in the first half. T was not going to lay down. They are well coached and have far to many athletes that can turn a game around. That showed in the second half. I really enjoy watching Dawkins play. The kid is like Roadrunner. He gets hit by something and just keeps those legs flying in a foward motion. He may not be that big but wow is he tough!
  7. As much as I would like to see an exciting game and even an upset would be interesting. T wins by several touchdowns. T has way to much horse on both offense and defense.
  8. T players and coaches will not and do not take any team lightly. I was talking sandbagging by fans!
  9. I do believe we have some sandbagging going on in this thread! :lol::lol::lol::lol:
  10. If the score is over 40 something, running clock in the mid 3rd quarter. End of the 3rd quarter with a running clock.
  11. I don't think it matters what the record is heading into the Trinity game.
  12. I am ok with being proven wrong! :thumb: Go X!
  13. Once again I am going to go with T wins by 3 TD's. :lol::lol::lol:
  14. Hey Mr. Bitter your needed over in the St. X/Moeller prediction thread.:lol::lol::lol:
  15. I would love to see X come home with the win but I just don't think that is going to happen.
  16. :rolleyes: In their defense...do you think any school of that caliber is ever prepared for a WHOOPING!!!!! Or in my words...getting the crap kicked out of ya! :lol::lol::lol:
  17. Nice job T. I said three td's but once I heard the halftime score I wasn't going to be shocked by the final score. I know any team can be beaten but I have strong feeling this isn't going to happen this year and maybe even on the next two years. By the way, what was up with the radio broadcast? Field reporter came through pretty clear but Wayne & Jason sounded muffled or something. A lot of cross over.
  18. OMG!!!! :lol::lol::lol: This should go into "Classic" post ASAP!!! Nice one Clyde! :clap::clap::clap:
  19. I agree. I have to admit that my perspective has changed a great deal over the last several years and even more the last 10 months. Don't get me wrong..I still love sports but its not gonna make or break my day if a team I like losses (or wins.) Adding a little humor to your life can be one of the best things you could do for yourself.
  20. Nice one! :lol::lol::lol::lol:
  21. I did and welcome back. Based upon the amount of post in this thread...your kind of a big deal! :lol::lol:
  22. Lighten up Francis!:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:
