Hicks has 28 of the 40 for shorthanded bulldogs. Holmes is a good, strong, athletic team. Would like to have seen this game with Hazard whole team.

Fun game to watch, Miller is a great player, sometimes seems to play to laid back would like to see him take over more. Stepp seemed to have trouble when Miller gaurded him. Jbs needs to get Collins more touches.

PCC is not the second best team in region, JBS and Hazard are the top 2 teams.

The players left Thursday morning for Chicago on planned sophmore trip. Kids had to pay up front so they had to go. Holmes is a big game for Hazard but it is also just a regular season game.

Just wondering if Jefferson ( believe UK signee????) was back playing from football injury, will be tough test for Hazard (possibly shorthanded with 4 or 5 players gone on school trip).

Hicks 30 pts. (7-3's) 7 ast. Hazard comes from behind at the half to get good win. Michael Campbell had big second half after early foul trouble.

Hazard comes from 15 down in third to win. Breathitt co. really played well Smith is a very good post player, Hollon also played well. Michael campbell only fied goal came at .9 left to give them the win. Hicks played good despite being dogged by Breathitt defenders all night. Teague, Jones and Kidd gave good min. off bench.

Each team at Hazard played like a 20 min. half on running clock, then switch to another team. Hazard beat Belfry by double fig. Hazard lost to Dunbar by four. Dunbar beat Jbs by about 6 or 8. Jbs beat Belfry by double fig.

Hazard, Dunbar, JBS, Belfry play tonight at Hazard. I do not know exact schedule.

Mr. Milam was mistaken a little on sports overtime and I do not know how good Pikeville's fresh. and sopo. classes are but Hazard's are loaded, with them starting about 6 or 7 freshmen and sopo. both ways this year.

It has not been 20 years it has been 12 years the 94 team lost to Pikeville at Hazard in reg. finals. The 93 dawgs were ranked #1 in state all year and lost to Pikeville in the second round. I admit Pikeville is a Football school, Hazard is a b-ball school, even with new district next year they will not play in the reg. season next year, I think P-ville will have a hard time beating Hazard the next 2 to 3 years because Hazard is so young, this was supposed to be kind of a rebuilding/learning year for the dawgs.

The Hazard/ Harlan game would have been alot closer if Campbell had played.

WR Hoskins(great kid) he is the only senior skill player. Qb-Olinger, Wr/Tb-Campbell, Wr-Kidd, Wr/Tb-Adams are all sophmores, Fb-Blanton(great hitter) and Te/Wr-Meehan and kicker/punter-Delpont are freshmen.

Congrats to Coach Dixon through tough week, and coach Fugate. I do not think this was as big an upset as people say it is, sure they beat Hazard 42-6 the first time but Hazard turned the ball over 7 times to once last night and the last game p-ville was coming off a close win over Jenkins and seemed like they had something to prove the first hazard game. One reason you could call it an upset is because of Hazard is so young, besides WR Hoskins(great kid) he is the only senior skill player. Homecoming win, Tyler olinger throws 6 tds

I know Hazard is not near as good as they were last year, but Hazard thinks in two years they will have one of the best teams they have had in a real long time.

Hazard was 9-2 last year lost about 14 seniors, they have a few seniors mainly lineman and reciever Hoskins, but most of skill players are freshmen and soph. Hazard is probably a year or two away from playing on this level.
