Good win for Hazard

I was at this game and it was an excellent one. Great atmosphere for a high school rivalry game. Campbell was the difference in this game, he sat most of the 1st half with foul trouble and PCC was able to keep it close but PCC could not stop him in the 2nd half.

 

Hicks was on fire tonight a couple of those threes in the first half were from probably 27-28 foot. He showed why he is the top player in the 14th.

 

I havent seen JBS play yet, but from what I seen tonight Hazard is the team to beat in the 14th.

Right but I'm not sure you can compare them after JBS plays Mason because I'd say Mason will win by 20+. I would like to see JBS play Perry Central. That would be a good game to compare JBS & Hazard.

Hicks was absolutely on fire tonight. PCC had guys in his face all night long and he just kept backing up and filling it up. If he can keep this up all year, there is not anyone that can beat them, but I'm afraid it was just one of those nights he was in a "Zone" and couldn't miss. He picked a great night for it, but unless he can do it every night JBS and Perry County will be able to beat them on just a regular Hicks like night. I definitely think he is the best shooter in the region, but as far as all around player I'm still going with the Stepp kid from JBS. Nice game for the Bulldogs!

It seemed like Hazard's defense gave PCC fits on the offensive side. They rushed their offense and took bad shots. Hicks and Campbell are tough.
