Thorobreds win yet another District Championship!

Wow! This is unbelievable! Such high expectations for the Wildcats this year per the story I read in The Falmouth Outlook. Hopefully Coach Valentine can get the Wildcats motivated.

I was curious about that. I thought they should have played more games. For a change the weather has been co-operative for the most part.

Not only a great coach, but a great teacher who has prepared so many young men for life! He is so respected as was shown by the crowd tonight filled with so many former players on a Monday night! Everyone come to the Hilltop Friday night for Alumni Night. Former players be sure to get there early for some batting practice! Thanks Coach Whitaker for all you and your excellent Coaching Staff have accomplished over the years! Harrison County Baseball, "A Matter Of Pride"!

Thorobreds fall in Coach Whitaker's first bid to get win number 1000! Next up is Mason County Monday at 5:30 on the Hilltop. Tates Creek improves to 11-1 while Harrison County drops to 12-7.

The Thorobreds roll to a 10-0 win on the Hilltop to improve to 12-6 on the season. Coach Whitaker now at 999 wins!

Thorobreds drop back to back 1 run games in the Harrison Memorial Hospital / McDonalds Classic on the Hilltop tonight. Harrison falls to 6-3 while Boone County improves to 5-2 on the season.

Not a good night for the Thorobreds! 5 errors, mental mistakes and lack of execution. They are struggling right now, but Coach Whitaker will have them ready by the middle of May.

Congrats to Campbell County! Never really pulled for the Northern Kentucky 10th region teams, but I am a fan of homegrown teams over transplanted teams! Good luck in the Sweet 16!

Pendleton County just doesn't have the athletes they used to have!

If I'm not mistaken, Harrison County won a State Championship with a 12 year old starting. After the State Championship, he came back and finished his Little League Season.

Harrison will be down this year. Maybe one of the weakest returning teams in a while. But, with tradition and Coach Whitaker the Thorobreds will be a 20 win team and ready to compete with anyone come Tournament time.

Just saying that somehow they have 2 high schools, but play as one! I'm not complaining! So, if you know so much Ram, why don't you help us understand what the Scott County students were referring too!
