How will Camp Co be this year?

Campbell county graduated several seniors who were the core of their varsity. 3 pitchers in Franzen Walsh and Perrin.

Scott returns Blake Gay(outstanding hitter),Andrew Trame and Nick Brinkman (Great Infielders), Josh Castleman (one of the better all around players in the 10th) and Reed Spata IMO the best player in the 10th region this year.

Unsure of who will pitch this year for Scott, they basically lost there whole rotation.

Brossart should be stronger this year. They only graduated one Senior last year. Three strong pitchers in Verst , Kremer and Hackworth. Sophmores filling out the Varsity roster last year should give them an experienced team this year. Pflum and Albrand both hit well as Sophmores against strong varsity pitching.

Harrison county returns a solid defense. If they can find the pitching they will be tough. They have IMO the best player in John King.

Bourbon County Graduated 9 Seniors last year. Harrison and Bourbon are always tough and seem to always be able to put strong teams on the field.

Harrison will be down this year. Maybe one of the weakest returning teams in a while. But, with tradition and Coach Whitaker the Thorobreds will be a 20 win team and ready to compete with anyone come Tournament time.

Bourbon will graduate 9 or 10 seniors this year not last. They have there entire starting lineup back except right field.

Bourbon County will be awfully good this year. And you can never count out Harrison County.

bourbon will be better than people think....and they are pretty good already!!! nelson will have them ready to go. good luck to all in the 10th.

Mark Taylor will be pitching for the Breds this year. Didn't play last year but he's a junior with a good fastball and solid curveball. He could be the help the breds need. Bourbon will be very very good though. Should be a fun year.

Bourbon County played fall ball in Northern Ky last year. They had two very nice pitcher that I recall. Don't know if they were upper classmen or not. They through very well at 79 to 81.

I assume the pitchers are Brown and Woosley?

I know very little about 10th Region baseball, but I wanted to put in well wishes to Coach Scooter Charles & the Bracken County Polar Bears. Coach Charles is entering his third year at the helm of the Polar Bears program & has done really well thus far. In his first season the team finished 19-14 & won the 39th District title. Last year was 16-15 & 39th District runner-up. Two consecutive above .500 seasons is pretty impressive for a program that hadn't had a winning season in quite some time.

Bracken opens its season, according to the KHSAA schedule, on March 26th at home against Newport. Best of luck to Coach Charles & the Bears! :thumb:
