  14. Name Logan Gardner School Thomas Worthington Graduation Year 2024 What are you going to miss the most about playing high school football? Playing with the kids I grew up with and will miss playing in front of the whole town on Friday Nights under the lights When you are back in town, will you try to catch a Thomas Worthington game? I will be at as many as possible! Thomas Worthington was sitting at 5-1 before dropping the last four games of the season to finish 5-5. What went wrong during the losing streak? We always have a tough conference but having such little kids compared to our other teams in our conference did not help us. The future is very bright with big upcoming classes coming into the high school. What mark do you believe your class left on the team? We were the first class for coach Picetti and we helped build a foundation of our culture and winning for years to come. What was it like walking off the field after your last high school game? It was one of the saddest moments of my life knowing I just played my last high school football game under the lights. Also made me remember all the hard workouts and practices we had and as much as those were hard to get through I will miss those very much. What were the best and worst parts of the recruiting process? The best was being able to see so many colleges and comparing them. It was very nice seeing what schools offered compared to what other schools did not. I do not feel like there was a bad part in this process I am very blessed and grateful to go through this process and will never forget it. What made you choose Eastern Kentucky? By the way, I really believe you are going to love Richmond. When I first stepped on campus in February of 2023 I really loved it from the start. Everything was so great to me and felt like Richmond was a perfect town for me. When I went back for a visit in mid-September to see a game I loved the energy of the fans and the team. The coaches were also a big part of this process because I was a kid who was offered the opportunity late and they never gave up or stopped talking to me. I will always appreciate them for sticking with me and giving me this opportunity. On top of being a lineman at the next level, are you going to try and continue long snapping? I was recruited as a lineman but am never going to stop long snapping in case. The more things I can bring to the team the better. What are your goals once you get on the field at Eastern Kentucky? My goals are just to help the team win. As a freshman, I just want to go to practice every day and battle as much as possible. What will your major be? I am in between nursing and education! What was the last book you read along with the author? Every Day is Game Day by Pat Williams and Mark Atteberry. It’s a sports devotional. What is one food that you enjoy that most others do not? I really enjoy sushi. Who are your favorite and least favorite teams? My favorite team is the Cincinnati Bengals and of course, my least favorite is the Cleveland Browns Image Link to article with his pic https://hearltlandfan15.blogspot.com/2024/01/2025-interview-with-thomas-worthing.html
