  1. How can I join in the order? Or can I at this point?
  2. Bingo! I do not need to make my first BGP visual presence this way!
  3. Well Birdsfan has put me up to this so I guess it needs to be done here. There was quite a nice little meeting of the BGP allstars before the game started in BF's luxury box. Since no one else could remember, I am stuck listing all attendees: Birdsfan FTBIGBIRD TaterSalad TaterTot - popped his head in for a second Mr. Network ckyfootball (I believe that was the whole name, sorry maybe my memory is slipping as well) I think that was it...besides myself of course. Game - WOW, this should have been much worse than it was. From the first defensive stand, it was over. Great season Lincoln, keep your heads high...I believe you are going to have lost to the eventual winner this year. See y'all in the 'Ville in one week!
  4. I hope to be there Friday afternoon...
  5. To use this logic...you have to have THOUSANDS of dollars to buy a, if I dont have that...should one of these car lots just give it to me? I mean...I must be worthy of it. Or wait, I could just wait until they close and steal it! Of course, being a natural born citizen that BROKE THE LAW, I would go to prison. Some things just dont add up! A law is a law...break it, face the consequences! It sickens me to hear how many people believe its absolutely fine for illegals to break the law and make their way into this country. I am a hard working American. I pay my taxes. I act within the law. My insurance rates have gone through the roof just like everyone elses...YET, I am still the one who has to pay more to cover someone who decided to spit in the face of a law and cross the border into this country illegally? I just cannot seem to understand this logic!
  6. Congrats Clay. Keep up that good work. Only three to go good man!
  7. ITS ABOUT TIME! Thanks for the concern Boom!! I know we have hijacked this thread again, sorry! However isnt it funny sometimes when you know everyone you are talking to but since they dont know your bgp name, they have no clue?! LOL.
  8. You got it bro! I dont know how you do it anyway. So what exactly is the plan for the bathrooms? Are they remodeling one or something? I mean, those three port-o's over there sure be sweet!!
  9. That is the best idea yet!! You could hide it behind that rail and really get under some skin!! :flame:
  10. Nicely done and by the way...just like some others have stated, we respect everyone that comes to play the game. LCC might be young (depending on how you look at things) but you dont make it this far without doing something right! Good luck to you guys as well, and we look forward to hosting all that make the trip!
  11. They wear helmets and pads! Is that really going to matter to those guys considering they are getting hammered by other MEN in pads? What on earth has this earth come to? Next thing you know we arent going to be able to hit QB's either...oh wait. :madman: I have not seen LCC play, and honestly have only heard what has been posted on the first thread. I have to agree with Henry here...these boys are on a roll and would love nothing more than to post another goose egg for the opposition.
  12. The debris is going to fall on the field either way. From where that monster sits...its going to be cooled off by the time it hits the field in either fashion. I just hate to lose the good ole days of watching the people jump out of their skin on that first shot! We (my daughter anyway) have Marlins practice on Fridays but grandma brings the yougin up to meet us. And no, I have never been able to understand why 'The House' is open on game night. I guess with a volunteer staff at least the arent out anything but seems like Saturdays (oh by the way...just like the other two schools) is the way to go.
  13. OK, so I understand the whole safer issue. But...at least elevate it on the roof so that it can be pointed more toward the crowd. The lack of punch is pretty pathetic. and Henry...who doesnt go to the games?
  14. Unfortunately I have to agree...what cannon?!? After moving the thing to the roof top, the fans are less than pleased with the sound. It fires directly over us now...not at us. So much is lost, not a good thing IMO.
  15. OK, so the question was asked before but it got glanced over...what time is the HHS practice this year?
  16. In my opinion, the best candidate that could have blown the rest out of the water decided to stick with his current campaign rather than jump in the race...Newt.
  17. I was ticketed in a school zone about 3 years ago. I saw the LEO coming the opposite direction so I made sure I was not speeding...however he flipped the lights on turned around and pulled me over. I doubled checked, the lights were not flashing...I looked at the clock, it was 10:47AM. After questioning the validity of his ticketing me, I was immediately told...if you pay attention to these flashing lights...you will have more tickets than you know what to do with. He then stated...if you read what the signs say...they tell you "during restricted hours". Of course they do not state what the restricted hours are either. Basically (in Cincinnati anyway...) any time between 730A and 4PM can be considered enforced hours! Paid that 135.00 ticket!!!
  18. I see myself on both sides of this equation. I definitely see where the opposition comes from. I definitely think there would be an increase in crime rates in the area, you are going to see this naturally when more people visit or live in the area. I think that additional people would end up losing their savings, houses, etc because of stupidity. I can see where tax incentives would be given for a period of several years in order to build establishments in certain areas…leaving real revenues from these casinos further down the line. HOWEVER, in every situation…there is give and take. More visitors to the area would bring revenues not only for casinos, but local eateries, retail, etc. This will negate some of the incentives given over the first couple of years. Additional people having access to a casino with the ability to lose life savings or houses or whatever you want to add here…well anyone with an internet connection has access to do all of this much more simply than getting in a car driving to a horse track for slots or a casino for other gaming. I do not see how being afraid of the negatives should be a reason to hold back the future. This will bring jobs to the area. This will bring better entertainment to the area in the form of gaming, live shows etc. This will bring more travelers to the area. This will bring tax revenues to the state. NKY and other areas of the state should benefit from this type of entertainment. I do not believe it will be to the levels that some are saying, but I do believe it would happen to some extent.
  19. Its really very simple! All anyone has to do is look at the crime statistics in states with 'shall grant' laws. Look at pre and post numbers, then come talk to me about the dangers. RTS is exactly right here. :thumb:
  20. I will just discontinue the argument. I will continue to carry as I please and in the event that you are ever in a situation that would warrant protection, I hope for your sake that there is someone close to you doing the same!
  21. It proves nothing actually...the stories that I do see on the news are the lunatic criminals that gun laws do not hinder in the least anyway.
  22. Interesting. I watch the news on a fairly regular basis. Havent seen any of those stories lately! Seems to me the people who end up shooting up the place are the ones that are carrying illegally anyway. This is why gun laws are ridiculous. The only people they hurt are the law abiding citizens. Do you really think someone who uses a weapon for a crime decides that he will go through all of the red tape to get a weapon legally? Not a chance...so the person like me who does go through all of the training, purchases legally, and carries legally is the one that has to suffer.
  23. With proper training, you would know when to shoot. You all that are against people carrying on a campus think that every who would is just some high strung trigger happy fool. I am sure there are some of those out there, however...I am in favor. If you think for one minute that I couldnt take out an individual getting ready to shoot up a classroom before he took out everyone...you are wrong.
