You know I say that in gest, but come on.(Afterall you are a brother...sort of) I am sure there are plenty of the so called commandos out there. You have no idea what my background is, my training, my ability to handle high pressure situations. There are folks out there however that have the training, been in situations you will never know, and fortunately protect all of the gun control junkies that would rather leave all protection to those that carry a badge.

First off, the whole commando reference is absurd. I know you didnt make it but it was thrown out there. If I am 100 yds away, I am on the floor trying to get out just like anyone else. However, at 20 yds and in serious danger...I'm protecting myself and family vigorously. I am not sure what you are talking about though when it comes to taking others with them? The object is to take out the shooter not those he is shooting at...he has proven he can do that pretty well on his own!

My question is then...how long will it take the swat team to get there? Are you telling me that an under cover officer shouldnt act in a situation like this because he happened to be patrolling alone? In the meantime, I guess this clown should just continue unloading his weapon on the defenseless.

Choose to believe what you will, I could care less. I do believe HHS will win, but that does not mean that I think BG is 'going to fumble' anything away. If they do, all the better for us. However, from the true HHS fans I have seen on here, none of them have disrespected your team. If you have made it this far, you are a worthy opponent. Our coaches and team will tell you the same thing. To your other point, if our boys lose...we know they have left everything on that carpet. They will be welcomed with open arms and congratulated on their game, season, careers as HS football players and well respected men in our community! The state championship is expected every year. I believe every one of those young men would tell you however, if it does not happen the community supports them just the same.

I know there have been some good athletes go through Newport, but Steve Kowolenek might have been the best all round athlete I have ever seen. It didnt matter the sport, he was a stud on every surface, hardwood, turf, or the diamond!

If I am wrong, you can certainly correct me here. I do believe his comment was in response to a statement of 'we' would rather win a big game against Ohio than to win a championship. I do not think anyone has belittled the BG team, as a matter of fact I am pretty sure that everyone has talked about what a great season they have had and what a great opponent they will be this Friday.

I do not thinks its wrong to express your opinion, but I do not think you could badger them with the opposing view. Simply state your feelings and let them decide whatever it is they choose to do. I do not have to like what the decision is, but it also shouldnt make me think less of them as a person. I hate a lot of things people do, but I can look past those things as a friend or colleague.

While my morals tell me that homosexuality is wrong, my Christianity also tells me that it is not my place to judge others. I will continue to think its wrong, but will not be the judge. The same judge that I will face someday will be making that decision. Until then, its love the sinner, not the sin!

I know Dave Ramsey. Not every well, but he is my Grandfathers neighbor. He is not a flashy man and really does live a life that he preaches. If you listen to his show, when he answers questions...you will hear that even with his staunch ideas, those ideas do NOT apply to every single situation. He offers alternatives to these situations that will eventually bring you back to the program. All in all, I like the program. Just like many others, I have issues with somethings, but hey...I am not debt free. If I did exactly as he says...guess what, I would be. Those who know me know I am a car nut. Therefore I drive new cars and do so about every 3-4 years. Is this a good idea...of course not. However it is something that I can afford to do while I live the lifestyle in other areas. The DR method will not be for everyone. Especially those who are not serious about living debt free. For those who are serious...its tough, stick to it and you will be surprised how good it feels to send in that last payment to a CC company, or pay off that last loan. The whole idea as some have said is common sense, unfortunately our society seems to have lost a lot of the common sense these days. Someone is out there championing a great lifestyle!
