Seneca scores again. No mention of how... Rocks 28 Seneca 14.

I opened up a new update thread. 28 to 7 now.

Seneca scores after 70 yard bomb and after Rocks hold initially on 4th and 3 inside 10 yard line when Wright throws a pick on 3rd and long. Rocks lead Seneca 28 to 7.

While there is no webcast tonight of this game, there are Twitter updates on the Trinity website. So far, Trinity scored on a long drive-- 7 to 0; Trinity intercepted Demarcus Smith and scored on pass to Taylor Kopp--14 to 0; Trinity recovers fumble and scores on pass to Quick with 3:17 in 1st qtr== 21 to 0; and Quick catches td pass 1 handed on 1st play of 2nd qtr-- Rocks 28 to 0!! Updates as posted. GO ROCKS!!

Since this is a topic raised by someone from neither St. X nor Trinity, I can understand the desire to start a discussion, or "stir the pot," after the Rocks blowout win last Friday night. However, as many have noted, the Tigers won both games convincingly last year, including the one that many consider matters the most important, the 6A State Championship. I believe that the true fans of St. X are exceedingly happy with the many years and wins produced by Coach Glaser. Just like we Rocks feel similarly about Coach Beatty, even when others doubt our team or our resolve (such as the 4 losses by the team starting Brian Brohm's senior year). Both coaches are admired and respected by those who matter the most, their school ADs, administrations and, most of all, by the student athletes that play for them. Enough said.

Ties the previous worst defeat in the series when St. X beat Trinity 48 to 0 in 1956 in their very 1st game.

Rocks roll from fumble recovery for td in 1st 2 minutes of game to running clock at the end!! Travis Wright picked as player of the game, but any number of Rocks deserved it!! GO ROCKS!! :thumb:

I don't know what the limit is, perhaps 8500 since that number has been mentioned the last 2 weeks, but I understand that ticket sales are stopped at a certain number. This may be a fire marshal rule or other official agency rule. If that helps to explain.

Congrats Rocks on a hard earned win!! You showed more poise than many teams I have watched before on that field. Marching 64 yards in 3:33 and picking and choosing the right calls. You should be very proud!! I know we Alums are!! Then it's time to get back to business for next week as Cincy St. X totally dominated the Tigers. Staying together as a tight knit team will be crucial. The Brothers for Life motto showed tonight when adversity struck, but you hung together for that last winning drive!! GO ROCKS!!

They are on 1080. Last I heard St. X 20 Ballard 0 almost half.

Unfortunately, as I recall, that was the way the 1st half ended last year when they started their comeback. Yikes!! GO ROCKS!! Different team-- Different Year!!
