Highlands has traveled down to the Mountains over the years: to Bell a few times and Cawood. Nice trips, but its nice to stay home the Friday after Thanksgiving. LCC will like Highlands if they are used to an amphitheater type setting.

There was a Bird team many moons ago that went 10-0 in the regular season as part of the longest winning streak in Highlands history (29 games) that lost in the first round of the playoffs. They lost to Conner and Conner went on to win state. 'Birds have to learn from tonight and not let history repeat itself. Interestingly, Dixie's head coach was a senior on that team

I hate that it was that close, but I love the never say die attitude. The birds have had to play several straight games on the road against good teams. They finally will get to come home and play until they get to the Pizza Box or they lose. I don't think this team has any plans on losing!
