I'm curious, why have you used a different standard in this thread than you stated was important to many in the thread titled "Kentucky's Remaining Undefeated Teams"? To support your position you used phrases like, "significant to note", "we don't want any team to go unnoticed", "against Kentucky competition" and "within the bluegrass". You would have to look no further than the 1st region to answer why I have posed this question, thank you.

Frey, Jones and Schlach accounted for 45 of Mason County's 65 points. They scored 15 points each and shot a combined 20 for 35 for 57.1 percent. Those three also out rebounded Ashland picking up 26 of Mason County's 41 rebounds. But, Ashland found a way to win and that's what counts.

The score at halftime was Ashland up 32-29 but in the first 6 minutes and 56 seconds of the 3rd quarter Ashland out scored Boyd 17-2 having ran off 17 straight points before Boyd managed to score. At that time it looked like there was no stopping Ashland leading 49-31, but floor conditions caused the game to be postponed allowing Boyd to regroup and Ashland to cool off. Boyd outscored Ashland 29-22 after the postponement.

I'm all but certain that if the game had been completed last night that Ashland would have won with a score of something close to 75-50. Ashland had taken control of the game and Boyd County was struggling. Postponing the game gave Boyd the opportunity to regroup and allowed Ashland to cool off. That being said I think that Ashland will have to play well to get a win in their next meeting.
