  1. I was talking to Ellison last night, he asked if I saw how LexCath stole his trophy, it took me a second to get it, but then I thought it was hilarious
  2. CovCath's will be super-tough, returning Casteneda at DB, Flynn at LB, a number of other good players, and solid coaches
  3. That definitely needs to be done because so many kickers now can make it to the endzone
  4. It's the "Brian Williams- That's My Boy" award. I don't think that it should ever be left out or forgotten
  5. Easy score because, all offense issues aside, it would have been a chip shot for CovCath's kicker- he was that good
  6. Ok, you're right, but still, CovCath would have had an easy score there, and then kicked the ball off leaving the Birds with a long way to go
  7. Explain your logic: The game was tied, Highlands fumbles the ball, CovCath recovers in Highlands territory. CovCath has been moving the ball all game, they could have easily scored, even if they wouldn't have scored, they still would have been in field goal range or only had a few yards until field goal range. However, it remains Highlands ball, and Highlands scores the touchdown that ends up winning the game. Little or nothing to do with the game? Again, please explain your logic
  8. If you'd like to show me another play that directly caused the other team to score the game-winning touchdown after something as obvious as that fumble, then I will admit that you are right. The play you find me also has to have had left CovCath in an easy position to win the game. Now that I think, it's exactly like my life, one night caused it to go in the completely opposite direction- it can be going great or on the verge of something good, but one wrong mistake by anyone, and it's all gone.
  9. Better than that? Have you seen the replays? Everyone in the stadium knew it was a fumble and it was obvious. Am I better than rolling over and letting my team get a raw deal? Yes, I am better than that, which is why I'm mentioning it
  10. Don't get me started on this year's game, I'll get suspended. CovCath still has a lot of skill position starters returning, and solid players to fill in where they lost people. CovCath, as always, will just re-load, and they have a lot of talent i.e. Bovard, Sutton, Flynn, Bleser, Casteneda, etc.
  11. Also, he didn't get much time because of Ellison, but Josh Bleser will be a solid quarterback. With all winter to keep working hard, they'll all be a force next season
  12. I was mad and muttering unkind words in my mind :madman: I was like "I thought this was over," :fire: now I'm laughing
  13. Yep, and the website says Sam Flynn is only a junior? I thought he was a senior? He had a huge season, and if he's only a junior, he'll be real good again next season
  14. Thank you, and it might have just been joking around, that's a very strong possibility, and nobody sticks up for Cov Cath when they get verbally bashed like they do in about everything
  15. Anything.......... Anybody........................??
  16. Very good question, I'll anxiously wait for their reply
  17. Thanks, people always do that on here: They make Cov Cath sound like a bunch of criminals whose whole school does nothing but cause trouble and bad-mouth people. There will be people from every school doing that, and, if it was only a few kids, it seems even more harmless
  18. He had an unreal year, and he's just a sophomore. He'll be amazing and only get better as he gets older
  19. I would say that if you consider all the school's sizes in relation to their openents' sizes, Cov Cath had the hardest- hands down
  20. I have no comment on the injustice of that game, and if there hadn't been an injustice, I believe that Cov Cath wins state with home field advantage throughout the playoffs
  21. But would he need to be an assistant coach? I don't think that's his style, and I don't think he could build a college team into a powerhouse like he could and did to a high school team. Not saying that he wouldn't be a great coach for at the college level, just in high school, you can still shape the players into better football players and better people more than you can at the college level. Regardless, I'm sure that he'll be successful in whatever he decides to do, there's no doubt in my mind :thumb:
  22. Beat me to it, I don't think he runs as much as Ellison did (I could be wrong), so he'll be able to just sit in the pocket and pick defenses apart. He has a great arm
