Pretty sure lower level is all sold out. The scalpers prices are outrageous. I checked and the price I got was 125 bucks each. No way in hell Im paying that. Upper level you can probably get for around 15 bucks maybe less on ticketmaster.

It'll be interesting to see how Holmes decides to play tonight. If they get out an run it would not surprise me to see the dawgs run them out of the gym.

That would be cool but he might want to get on it soon. He likes Xavier a lot according to the people on this board.

Tomorrow night should be an awesome session with LC/Holmes and SV/EC. I wish I could make it for those games.

How many did Ferguson end up with? I know he had 20 at halftime.

My friend and I were talking about that during the timeout before the last possession. He said he would have kept them in the press and I said no way to much of a risk to get beat back for an easy bucket. I thought they did the right thing by sending everyone back and playing tough half court defense.

Housely, JJ, and Riley all stepped up pretty big today to help Rico. Pittman struggled but some of it was due to foul trouble in first half. He had a sick block shortly after Housely's slam. Pittman skyed up and pretty much cuffed the shot and tossed it. I didnt believe TezzyRice when he used to say Pittman played above the square but he might have gotten up to the top of the square on that one. Kid was up there.

I know Vee had a lot of points today but I was more impressed with #32 for LC. The dawgs will need to get on him too.

When I was there this afternoon they announced that their was only upper arena tickets still available for tonights session. Figured it would be a huge crowd.

Great game between these two. #10 for BG was a baller. He tried to carry them to a victory and almost did. The player I was impressed with the most for LC was number 32. That kid was very good.

Sounds like Ferg is en fuego. Might need some new nets down there after this one.

This was a fun game to watch. Both teams play a pretty exciting brand of basketball and it made for a good game. First off hats off to Christian County they played a nice game and played hard the whole game. #11 for CC is a freaking speed demon with the ball in his hands. He gave the dawgs fits several times with his quickness. If there is a player faster than him in the tournament I wanna see him. Thought the dawgs looked pretty good but it could have been better. They seemed to come out a little gun shy and afraid to push the ball and attack the press. Not sure what the game plan was but I thought they played right into Christian County's press by slowing the ball down. They did a little to much dribbling against it and not enough passing and they didnt attack the middle of the press at all which is where you need to beat it at. They would dribble up the court a little and then instead of looking ahead they passed the ball backwards into the press. I thought they made the press harder on themselves than it should have been. CC was said to be a running team and they were but I thought Holmes could have out ran them and beat them at their own game if they wanted too. After Christian County scored the first 4 points of the second half I thought the dawgs showed a glimpse of what they could do when they really want to push it. They were up 32-30 and then they went on a nice run where they just pushed the ball hard offensively up and down the court and really got after it on defense and boom they were up 40-30 just like that and CC called a timeout. Thought they were going to run away with it at that point. After the timeout tho Holmes went back to slowing it down and not attacking like they were and I thought it kept CC in the game. IMO Ricardo Johnson is the best player in the tournament. That kid is so money and can really carry this team when he needs too. Hats off to Housely as well he played a great game. His dunk over the CC defender was nasty.

He's a good ball player dont get me wrong but I wasnt overly impressed with Vee today. I know he ended up with around 30 points and came thru when his team needed him, but I thought he struggled a bit especially in the first half. He didnt take very good care of the rock and threw it away a few times. Really wish I was able to go tomorrow and watch him and Rico go at it. I really think he will shut down Sanford. Whatever Vee gets scoring wise tomorrow he will have earned every point.

I dont think you really need to. They are doing a good job of defending themselves on the court where it really matters.:thumb:

After watching both today, I just cant see LC pulling it off unless Holmes just completely falls flat on their face.

If Holmes plays the way they are capable they should win by a nice margin. I was there for both games today and I thought Christian County's press was better than Lex Caths. Dont see LC matching up with Holmes athleticism. Hope to see Ricardo Johnson on Vee Sanford tomorrow. That would be a fun matchup and I think Rico would really frustrate Vee.
