Game played at OCHS. Carroll was up 24-10 mid-way thru the 2nd period and a lid was mysteriously placed on their basket. Owen scored the next 16 points over about a ten minute period. The lead went back and forth and the game went into OT. Carroll's Wallace missed about a 15 footer at the buzzer. Tough loss for the Lady Panthers. They will be fine. Owen killed them on the boards.

to Coach Mike Weedman and to Andy Sisenstein of the Carroll County Panthers, Class 2A, Region 1, District 5, coach and player of the year. Well deserved. Coach Weedman led the Panthers from 2 wins in 2007 to 5 wins this season and they are really looking forward to a great year next season with several players returning and some great looking young talent coming up. Andy, a junior, had a very good year, especially as a kick returner, as nearly every team the Panthers faced from mid-season on were kicking away from the speedy return man. And, by the way, this was Andy's first year of football. :dancingpa:dancingpa

It's not a bad gym but it is hardly my favorite. Oldham County High School or South Oldham, for that matter, have the best gyms in the 8th, IMO.
