Commando-I for one always look forward to reading your posts. They are as unbiased as we get in Warriorland and always insightful. Rookies will be rookies, glad they are in the tribe, but one should walk before letting their fingers do the running.............. GO WARRIORS:banana:

Southwestern's Matt Robertson. Tall, athletic and can catch it if it is anywhere in his vicinity.

None of the bus riders (freshmen, JV, & coaches) were physically injured, however it is my understanding there is at least one fatality with the other vehicle.

Update..the car that apparently hit the bus had a couple of passengers that were injured. Thoughts and prayers for those folks...

Just heard one of the Southwestern buses was in a little fender bender, no one hurt! Game was good alot of emotion. Southwestern is so balanced this year. Matt Robertson can catch anything in his vicinity. The duo of Hampton and Smart in the backfield keep things interesting. QB Mike Jones gets better every day. Both line's are quick and improving also. The D is really anchored by the LB'ing corps who are all play makers. Tyler Daulton has really come on strong this year in the secondary which is overall much improved this year. Looking forward to getting the season underway. GO WARRIORS :banana:

This is so sad, my thoughts and prayers to family, friends, and teamates.

I would think every school has had these types of issues at some time. I think what has pushed most people's buttons about this is the school board involvment. Somerset's elected officials opened up this can of worms by amending the principals action. I have no doubt school policy allows for these types of appeals to the school board, but the board should have just heard it and supported the principals decision. I also suspect if these had been kids from the "other side of the track" this is what would have happened. The effect is it just reinforces what alot of people believe about Somerset. I also think while the punishment seems harsh to some, anything short of being arrested should have caused a sigh of relief. Just my 2 cents worth ...

I'll chime in with another :thumb: to Bucknut. I also know Coach A has helped kids from other schools as well. Hate to see the season end for these kids, but there is always next year. GO WARRIORS :banana:

No one is more disappointed than these coaches and players. BUT being one of 16 teams left playing from out of the 50 something in AAA, there is no shame here. I AM PROUD of the staff and how they mentor and work with these boys to turn them into men. I AM PROUD OF THE players and managers for their hard work during the off-season and the season. I wish the seniors well and hope all their dreams come true. AVGJOE- take it somewhere else we ain't dancing with you.

There was a huge puddle over on Southwesterns side line, that Pulaski field apparently was targeted by remnants of Wilma who somehow back tracked to Pulaski Co and stopped over the field. This global warming is scary stuff. I was surprised to see so few Pulaski fans at the game. Even though it was away Southwestern seemed to have majority of fans. Whatsup with that? Another well contested ball game.

The ND thread on another site had 947 registered users on line when I visited.
