  1. No, you really probably don't. :thumb:
  2. Why aren't they going to be a great defensive team? It's easier to be a good defensive team than offensive.
  3. Nice try, but that doesn't fly. Bryan Station lost to West Carter.
  4. Actually, this score begs the question, is anyone in Lexington (please no UK jokes) any good?
  5. Didn't see the thread last year, but I'm glad I checked in this year. I didn't realize Frey had such a big impact in the early years, or that Pat helped turn the thing state wide. Thanks for educating me on the subject. :thumb: I think the all "A" is a great event, and I also think it's a big reason the KHSAA can still keep the Sweet 16 a one class tournament.
  6. Wow, have you had a bad week or what? :thumb. At the start of the week I was the troublemaker, and now you can't argue with CCH, or anyone from CovCath on here, fast enough. Who wants to argue again? :fire:
  7. Anyone have any idea what the records of these teams are after this game.
  8. I'm not doubting Taft's talent at all, I really don't know a whole lot about it. But, four D-I players on most any team is an awful lot. If they had that many D-I guys, seems we would have heard more about them. Herkey is good, and it sounds like they have other good guys around him.
  9. Is UConn recruting Herkey, or are they interested. Pretty big difference, especially for a senior.
  10. If that's the case, then thanks for the heads up.
  11. What's the story with the missing players, and players sitting for an extended period?
  12. I read in the Enquirer this morning that Taft's coach said four of his starters are receiving some level of D-I interest. Seemed like an awful lot, but I know Herky is a D-I guy. Who's recruiting him?
  13.  As I read your post I couldn't help but think the same thing, just another day at the office for OJ and his traveling side show.
  14. This is either a really good idea, or really bad one. I'm leaning toward the latter.
  15. I agree 100 percent. If these guys are going to be hyped, then they are going to be held to a higher standard. So far, they've failed to meet those expectations, even against the better D-III schools. Blowout losses to Beechwood and Silver Grove.
  16. Why exactly you chose to enter the conversation on BFritz's behalf is beyond me, but have at it. If challenging someone's opinion or having a differing viewpoint than someone, expecially on a message board is disprespectful, then you and I have varying definations of the word. You made your attack on me personal and that is being disrespectful. :madman: :madman: BFritz went to a game, made some general comments, I asked for specifics and thanked him in advance for his feedback. How again did this become personal?
  17. JD, hasn't this been LLoyd's MO for several (like four or five) years now? At some point shouldn't some of those frosh and sophs be playing varsity as seniors. Not a knock on your post, I've heard the same thing, but I've heard it for a long time.
  18. It seemed you were at the game, so I was hoping for some insight. Did Dixie cool off? Did Scott start forcing turnovers, was there foul trouble on either side? Etc. That's why I said thanks for the insight. How was that disrespecting?
  19. Couple questions BFritz, if Dixie was on fire how did they only score 54 points in 36 minutes? Also, if they were on fire, why exactly didn't they come out on top? Thank you in advance for your insight.
  20. I don't much care about the game either, as it likely means very little and I don't closely follow either team. I do think it's a big game for HC and Beechwood though because I'd much rather play CovCath (I think they'll be the two) than Holmes. It's pick your poison, but I think CovCath has more flaws on the court.
  21. Nah, we can agree to disagree on one subject, but agree on another. :thumb:
