The biggest thing I have seen this summer is going to be keeping their ego's in check. Not that they were out of check when I saw them but there is LOTS of talent there and that is the biggest thing that gets in the way! :fight:

Crazy as it may be Volleyball regions and districts are still like the old basketball/baseball/softball districts and regions. So South and North Laurel are still in the 12th. South lost more than Wombles, but still have a solid group coming back. All the top teams lost several big names that have been around for years. I would probably have to say Southwestern #1 then South Laurel #2. :fight:

True. But you would think Casey would be one of the ones that you would want to play. Both coaches have been around for awhile and know what each other will have the next few years....Of course that might be why they don't play. :fight:

Lets add Dunbar repeating as CHAMPS! CONGRATS To THEM!!. Congrats to Coach Sowers from Dunbar, his 3rd Berea title in five years. The first with Pulaski the last 2 with Dunbar. He also had 2 semi final finish's while at Pulaski. :fight:

I thought the school announcer used the term "ejected". As for the "T" I don't think it would have been called if Jones from Mccreary hadn't made such a ruckus over it. The ref stood and stared in disbelief until Jones kept making gestures and doing his usual Jones things when mad. Can't say I blame him. It's the rule. I'll never forget the younger Meeks(Ben) getting called early in his days for the same thing. The ref and Jones had some conversation with the local police officer. The refs conversation seemed kinda heated from my angle. :fight:

There was a lady with a Nebraska shirt on sitting right next to them. I didn't see the number of the girl they were talking to but they all talked to the same girl and all seemed to be big buddies about it! Mr. Kordes got after James a couple times. Pretty intense the first time. I was close enough she just kept saying, OK over and over again. then she buries the next ball at the ten foot line. Guess he got his point across. Anybody know why James and 2 other seniors didn'tdress for the Corbin game? Should she get MVP not playing in all games?

Your right!! I couldn't agree more!! I could have watched that match all night long. I was hoping it would go 3! Kentucky coaches were there, Cincinnati coaches were there, Ole Miss coaches as well. :fight:

I didn't mean anything against South. What part of my statement sounded like I was dogging south. Sorry if I offended you. I thought South played a great game. I was attempting to stand up for South and their area. Heck I was cheering for them. I get tired of hearing people slam the area. I agree there were a couple of calls that were questionable against South. The biggest being the lift called in the 3rd game. I still feel South gained more from the refs than did Henry Clay. You should be very proud of the girls. I am very proud of them. As for being upset over a loss, I don't formulate my V-ball opinions based on a PC win or loss. Losing is part of the game..Unless your Assumption... and they have even lost a couple this year! :fight:

I feel the atmosphere in Frankfort is MUCH NICER. Nothing against NKU, but I have been in several high school gyms that are nicer. I think I liked it better when it was at Ryle. :fight:
