Berea Tournament Info

Featured Replies

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed this tournament. Although my Team (Carroll) did not have their best showing it was a fun tournament to attend.

We saw many good players including Ciera Ricketts, Heather Sturdivant, and Lenea Shouse. It was a great place to see all the different styles of play from different regions. We also got to see a team from Australia and found out quickly that Basketball is a little different "Down Under" including their uniforms.

The girls were lucky enough to meet Sarah Elliott form UK who was attending some of the games and was very friendly.

It is a long tournament and if you are traveling from out of town about the third game the girls are exhausted.. I really did not think that any of the teams that we played we could not compete with. It just comes down to shots falling and playing as a team.

This is our second year at Berea and we really appreciate how much work the community puts in to this and how well it is organized.

I agree. The Berea Holiday Tournament is one of the best in the state. Coach Jerry Bingham and his staff do a great job hosting the event. A 32 team tournament takes a lot of work by a lot of people.:thumb:

Lets add Dunbar repeating as CHAMPS! CONGRATS To THEM!!.

Congrats to Coach Sowers from Dunbar, his 3rd Berea title in five years. The first with Pulaski the last 2 with Dunbar. He also had 2 semi final finish's while at Pulaski.
