Should be a good game. Is it at NCC or NDA?

Notre Dame has not scheduled NCC for years. Coach Wolf (sp) tried this year, but, with the addition of Cooper HS to their conference, they could not add any more games. The best chance for an NCC and NDA showdown would be at either Cincinnati Mercy Fall Classic or the Louisville Invitational Volleyball Tournament. There is also the state tournament. NCC and NDA will scrimmage each other at NDA on August 12th at 6:00.

Henry Clay should be strong. Top attacker is Annalee Abell, who just accepted full ride scholarship to Georgetown University in DC for volleyball. She was first team all state as a junior, will be entering her senior year.

What about the 14th region? Any favorites there?

Who will when the 12th region? Most of the "traditional" teams have lost key players.

The Oldhams will be strong again in the 8th. Not sure how many SO lost but they have a good group of players.

South Laurel has to be the favorite in the 12th.

South lost a key player in Lauren Wombles, but should still be solid.

Crazy as it may be Volleyball regions and districts are still like the old basketball/baseball/softball districts and regions. So South and North Laurel are still in the 12th. South lost more than Wombles, but still have a solid group coming back. All the top teams lost several big names that have been around for years. I would probably have to say Southwestern #1 then South Laurel #2.
