  1. Who pitched for the Cardinals
  2. Sounds like the Maroons have put it all together to make a pretty good run towards the end of the year. A little better than their baseball team ended up. http://www.somerset-kentucky.com/localsports/local_story_154115640.html?keyword=topstory
  3. The Jumpers managed to scrap 5 runs in the earlier meeting this year against Witten. The final score of that game was 9-5 and the Jumpers committed 4 errors which contributed to 7 unearned runs. If the Jumpers play good defense behind Wallen then they have a pretty good chance to come out on top.
  4. I believe Freshman southpaw Tanner Perkins pitched for Rock
  5. Does anyone have any info on the other games that were played in the nightcap?
  6. I also hear that Mercer could very well be the best team in the tourney. I agree with you, Somerset will have to throw Molen against Mercer because the Scotties start 6 leftys in their batting order. This should work to Somersets advantage if Molen can get ahead early in the game.
  7. Somerset seems to have a pretty good draw. This will help their chances of making it to the 2nd or 3rd game.
  8. If you want to call them troubled, then yes they did play. And they will play again tonight and Monday for the Region tournament also. Im sure Pulaski has more "Troubled Kids" on the baseball team than Somerset does.
  9. I'm sure you dont know ALL the details..
  10. Somerset uses bingo has a source of cash for all sports.
  11. My mistake...I should have said an overnight camp, such as where they teach you fundamentals of the game as well as giving you an opportunity to play. Not just somewhere to go and get beat by thirty every trip out.
  12. In a manor of speaking, that's what you get when you breed a St. Bernard with a Shih-Tzu.
  13. This is the first time in three years, or, if you will, since Judie Mason left, that the girls have had open gyms that weren't a complete joke. Also, it's the first time in two years that the girls have been to a team camp...wouldn't you say that this is already a major step in the right direction?
  14. Keep Telling yourself that...:fight:
  15. I was at that game, he put on one heck of a show. Even though Somerset pulled it out 41-40 i believe.
  16. According to Coach Grundy and Wilson Sears, they made an agreement that the kids would be allowed to play in the District Tourney and for however long the year lasts after the District.
  17. Hmm.. Not sure about that one.. When it is announced i will be sure to let you know:fight:

  20. Good win for the Warriors, keep it up! http://www.somerset-kentucky.com/localsports/local_story_123094925.html?keyword=secondarystory
  21. I know that there were several parents upset with coach brown, and not just over playing time. From what I hear, jumper1 was right in saying that the parents had nothing to do with the decision, because the "chain of commands (tucker, perkins, and sears) wouldn't hear from the parents and based the decidions solely on their knowledge. Assistants are Miranda Ray and Adkins' daughter Christa.
  22. Who pitched for the Warriors in the McCreary Game?
  23. I'm impressed with this win for the Maroons. Who pitched for the Tigers?
