Danville (30-6) makes its way to the championship game by defeating Wayne County 13-3 and Rockcastle County 16-1.

Somerset (25-11) defeated Mercer County 3-2 and Lincoln County 6-3.

Danville won a matchup earlier in the season in the 12th Region All-A Classic by a score of 9-5.

Im goin to take Somerset in a thriller. I believe Somersets pitching staff is better in this one.

Witten pitched Tuesday night against Rockcastle, but I believe Danville has a full compliment of pitchers available for tonight's game.

Danville has swung the bats well the last two games.

Rained out Wednesday. Game will be played at 7:00 Thursday.

Witten can pitch now and that is why I am going to take Danville in this one

Danville 7

Somerset 3

The Jumpers managed to scrap 5 runs in the earlier meeting this year against Witten. The final score of that game was 9-5 and the Jumpers committed 4 errors which contributed to 7 unearned runs. If the Jumpers play good defense behind Wallen then they have a pretty good chance to come out on top.

I agree with shs. Saw their game earlier this season and Somerset's defense was a little suspect. If they clean up their act then I say Somerset 6-5. Both are very solid teams however, and could go either way.

Danville won 6 to 0 per the scoreboard.

Witten warmed up for a few minutes late in the game, but they didn't need him to close it out. Matthew Grimes threw all seven innings for a complete game-shutout.
