  1. You directly referenced T, hence my response. It would be of benefit to prep them for X and Male too though.
  2. Maybe not, but if you play someone similar to T then you will be better prepared for them when the time comes.
  3. T, X, DeSales, CAL, Holy Cross, KCD
  4. Yes, that is why I put them in the list. Frankly it surprised me too when I learned it.
  5. Be nice if Papa John's, Yum! Brands, Humana, or Texas Roadhouse would step up and offer to sponsor them in Louisville. I'd wager just 1 or 2 of them could put together a nice sponsorship package.
  6. You know what, I am going to stop posting today because my brain clearly is not wanting to work. :lol2:
  7. I meant to type 91 dangit, I knew we won in 90 and GRC 91, sorry fat fingers moment.
  8. I know they have GRC in 90, T in 03, 05, 06 & 07. Others not so sure of.
  9. Not much to argue with there in my estimation. Louisville teams seemed much stronger outside of the big name programs than usual this year. PRP, Fern Creek and Ballard all are better than I expected.
  10. In my mind the starters stay in until a running clock is achieved. I may keep them in longer if it is against a team that has taken things personally and are looking to beat up on the younger guys. It would have to be a significant blowout in the first half for me to take the starters out before halftime too.
  11. In my mind first team always stays in until a running clock is acheived, then sub freely. When a team has big play ability you leave nothing to chance. The game was 27-21 at one point in the second half, you put a buffer in there when you can. It's not like they called a fake field goal in the end of 4th quarter when the game wasn't in doubt ir anything.
  12. Not sure if Knight's Hall would be big enough to bid for basketball.
  13. He's a rockmom convert, he's one of us.
  14. Good, if they could identify the starters of the chant I know they would be dealt with too
  15. If only Bellarmine had a football team and stadium.
  16. I know Trinity has 4 runner ups. 1 to Butler (70), 2 to X (97 & 09) and 1 to Male (00). Trinity has never lost a title game to a team outside Jefferson County.
  17. Late hit is a bit excessive considering the announcers disagreed with your assessment. Unfortunate of course, late depends on which side of the field you're on.
  18. That may be the case, but you don't hear these kinds of stories about Louisville Central, and they fit that bill as much if not more so than Lafayette.
  19. Subpar is being generous. Some machines were darn near dangerous.
  20. I agree, a thread like this just serves as an open forum to bash kids for doing stupid kid things.
  21. While Beatty may not be as successful if you put him somewhere other than T, I have no doubt he would still be successful. Prior to his first title it was a 7 year gap between T titles and in 1995 a first round playoff exit at the hands of Doss. Not to mention a number of years as a middle of the pack team until Beatty took T to their potential. I know that a 7 year gap seems like we're spoiled, since many schools wait as long if not longer between titles, but for a school that had 12 titles prior to his arrival and the state's record 50 game winning streak a 7 year gap is an eternity. So to my initial point Haywood would probably be successful at T and Beatty I'd wager would be successful at Belfry. Would either be able to match the other's? No idea, but it is a fun exercise in speculation. :thumb:
  22. Which is what the radio guys for T indicated too, didn't seem like a punch. Not violent, but not appropriate either way.
  23. And I have to eat some crow, you were right on their ability to score. They did improve more than I thought. 21 against the Rocks D is not an easy task.
