St. Xavier/Manual Updates
I'm not sure who is confusing me more this season: Manual or X.

Trinity 28 St. Xavier 0
That may be so, but Glaser's views on T made for some of the best years of the rivalry.

I know, you'd figure that Ryle would be higher after that Cathedral game. :bunny:

I know those X teams from 2000-2012 played with an edge. Is it a team culture thing, coach intensity? Just curious. While I love the way things have gone lately, this rivalry is at its best when this game is too close to call.

Is it possible that Wolford is trying so hard not to be Glaser that he is shooting himself in the foot?

Looks like one of those Lexington or NKY teams finally get to move into the BGP top 5.

Definitely, the X defense did their best but the offense just wasn't there.

Losing that bruising RB really hurt. Wish he was healthy. Hope he has a speedy recovery after his surgery.

6A #1 Trinity vs. #2 St. Xavier at University of Louisville
Heaven forbid we actually talk about the teams instead of a "lather, rinse, repeat" of the same things year after year after year. :lol2:

Their offense hasn't impressed me any of the times I have seen them play T.

This is why I expect a classic!- 6A #1 Trinity vs. #2 St. Xavier at University of Louisville
Please don't remind me of the 0-4 start of 2003, that was painful.- Traditional Powers that could/should play!
As much as I rib you guys, I will give you credit. You did manage to beat them in in 2008, in the playoffs, when it mattered. So props to you.- Traditional Powers that could/should play!
At what point? You realize that JC has dominated the largest class for a long long time, right? It isn't a recent development. Before T you had H, M, Flaget, X, shoot even Butler has a title in the largest class. Since the 80s year only 5 non-JC teams have won in the largest class: Scott County, Nelson County, Shelby County, Henry Clay, & GRC (theirs is probably the most impressive as they had to beat T & X back to back to do it). So everytime our "era" has come to an end it has been someone not from NKY to do it. 2 near Lexington and 1 in with 2 near Louisville. So if you guys are coming for a title, which I will believe when I see, it will likely be a 1 year gap before the traditional Louisville powers reassert themselves. T has been in the title business since '69, X and H go even further back. The era is not coming to an end, sorry.- Traditional Powers that could/should play!
0 titles, 1 runner up. SC has at least a recent title and has scored on Trinity (and almost beaten them before). SC deserves to be called a power more than SK. If you guys manage a title one day I will definitely change my tune, shoot if you end up competitive with the big powers in real game situations I may change it. It just hasn't happened yet. You guys are consistent though, I will give you credit there.- 6A #1 Trinity vs. #2 St. Xavier at University of Louisville
Considering the fact that the starters had to play 4 full quarters in each of the other games I don't expect that 1 game where they sat a half will make much difference. - 6A #1 Trinity vs. #2 St. Xavier at University of Louisville
