  3. That's correct. It's a little confusing because the first game was in Dec. 2000 instead of Jan. 2001. One a year for a state our size is pretty good.
  4. That made me laugh nonstop for a good 30 seconds, and I needed that today.
  5. Collinsworth went but was injured and didn't play. I poked around on the game's website and found these Kentucky players on their alumni list: 2010: Austin Collinsworth, DB, Highlands 2009: Justin Green, CB, Male 2008: Brandon Newman, DT, PRP 2006: Micah Johnson, LB, Fort Campbell 2005: Earl Heyman, DE, Ballard 2005: James McKinney, DE, Central 2004: Brian Brohm, QB, Trinity 2002: Jake Carney, DB, Lexington Catholic 2002: Rob Smith, OT, Highlands 2001: Brent Grover, DE, Highlands
  6. Five years from now, if all four titles from 2011-15 haven't gone to the east side, I'll be stunned. And I'll come back to this thread and admit I was wrong.
  7. I don't think they'd move teams in the middle of a two-year cycle, unless maybe a handful of teams within the class or two teams from the same district happened to drop out at the same time. But after two years, Ram, my understanding is also that they would also pull a team or teams down from 2A.
  8. Uh, OK, let's say that. I have a slightly different theory, which essentially says that if they could justify capping 6A at two teams, they'd do that. But your reasoning is, well, reasonable, and probably pretty close to the mark. And unless I missed something, it's more of an explanation than we heard when the move was made.

  10. The BOC voted to cap 1A and 6A at 32 teams this year, effective with this new alignment. I've never seen an explanation as to why.
