I know this is a Raceland thread and I wish them the best of luck because I have a lot of friends down that way but how did Lawrence look?

How did Raceland do in their 7 on 7 against my boys from Louisa??

Sounds good to me, Coal Grove had a nice team last fall.

Not real sure. Last time I saw was that they only had 9 games as well. I will learn more on the situation in the upcoming weeks.

I look for good things from LC but have to wait and see how they do in a couple of scrimmages first.

Not to sound bias or to be to vague but the whole team is extremely athletic and LC has the offense in place and the skill at the positions needed to make this LC team very dangerous if they can stay healthy.

Its more than likely just me being bias but I really believe if LC can stay healthy they are going to shock the state this year.

I will be in Johnson County going to school all this fall so I should get several chances to see the new field.

From what I have seen and been told look for Lawrence to go to something of a spread-option offense this year.

Boone Goldsmith from Lawrence should have a great year with the new offense they are installing this summer. I was also looking for good things from Mahan from Ashland but havent heard anything recent on him. JK Ratliff would have a good year if JC would ever throw the ball. Grimm in the flat and coming out of the backfield and Dials as a big TE would be a great help too.

Boone Goldsmith Tall and able to see over the line, has a great arm and touch. Can throw it on a rope or put air under it for you to get it. Not real mobile but sees the field very well.

The 7 on 7 was held at Greenup County High School with almost every team in the area in attendance. Teams that were present were Russell, Johnson Central, Ashland, Greenup Co, Fairview, East + West Carter, Lewis Co. and Lawrence County. Lawrence County came away the winner. I know you cant tell much from these but I think Lawrence will be able to throw the ball all over the field this year.:ylsuper:

Didnt see him at the 7 on 7 at KCU the other day.

Saw Ashland in the passing league yesterday in Grayson and they seemed to struggle at QB and with their routes. Granted you cant tell anything from these leagues but is this a point of concern for Ashland this year?

Honestly the guy that I am referring to says he knows CZAR personally and just wanted me to get on here and give him a hard time. I like JC and their entrance and I wish them all the luck this fall. PM ME CZAR for the guys name:lol:

Its not absurd, I just figured that it has some truth to it considering the person I was talking to attends every home UK football game.

No do you have anymore? My buddy that I talk to that lives in Johnson county mentioned this to me and I just wanted to see if it had any truth to it. No reason to get upset.

I was talking to a buddy of mine the other day from Paintsville and we were discussing how good JC and their opening is to start football games with the fireworks and music and all. Come to find out, he said that they ripped off UK Football and thats how they come out the same way. Any truth to this? P.S. My buddy has regular season tickets to UK games and has had them for years.

With his hair you would figure he would be at Gonzaga for sure. LOL
